We spent two fantastic weeks in Stable End in August. The cottage is beautiful with two lovely outside sitting areas. Looking out to the fields from our terrace was amazingly peaceful and quiet. The cottage had everything you need and more with a brilliant welcome basket. The swimming pool is stunning. It is clean and kept at just the right temperature, never cold. We were a family of 5 and there was something for everyone. I am definitely going back this year.

Dear Mike and Mandy, Thank you for our lovely stay in Staples End which was a beautiful gite fully equipped and very comfortable .Our stay was more than we expected , beautiful and peaceful surroundings which suited us as we needed that after a long day.

Mike & Mandy were generous hosts, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The individual properties have loads of character and are set in a large, as you would expect and hope, property with huge open lawns with views, swimming pool and large communal barn conversion.

The location allows you to visit the Lascaux Caves and Bordeaux. So make the most of getting to Pomerol, Fronsac and so on, which are only 1 hour down the road. You're mad if your car is not fully loaded for your return!
