'G & T' are the most convivial, friendly, unassuming and helpful couple who deserve every pundit and success for creating such a lovely 'home from home'.
The welcome pack on arrival and the obvious time they have taken to ensure that the Gite lacks for nothing at all, lovely big and comfy bed, white fluffy towels and a kitchen with every conceivable mod con.
All the earlier comments on this website are true and saying something different that is workable isn't easy.
It is evident they have worked incredibly hard to create a truly memorable holiday home, both inside and outside of Walnut Tree Gite, the ambiance is so relaxing, we loved our stay with you.

We have had the most fabulous time made even more enjoyable by Graeme & Tina the hosts. You have created a wonderful holiday home form home, with all the comforts that you expect, the attention to detail is superb, the pool is wonderful and cleaned daily, there are so many lovely places to sit and relax in the garden, which is planted with so many beautiful plants. Our two weeks went far too quick, we wish you all the very best for the future, if you are ever in Suffolk be sure to look us up.

Spent two weeks there with my wife, her mother and our cockerpoo, Hector. Have stayed in gîtes annually for several years and so have a good feel for what makes a good stay.
The bottom line is this was pretty damn perfect for us.
The property is roomy, well equipped and done to a high standard. The owners (Tina and Graham) live next door and so all maintenance happens throughout the season: garden is kept beautiful and pool is cleaned twice a day.
Based on previous gite experiences, we arrived with a box of cleaning products, washing up liquid etc. This wasn’t necessary as all of this was provided. As was bedding, towels and pool towels.
Living room has tv which gets over 29 uk channels. Also lots of DVDs and books.
Gite is well located for trips and these are all outlined in the info book. I really recommend a full day doing the “western triangle but all the suggested excursions are fab.
I would advise you book early, bookings fill up pretty quickly. So what is the secret of this places success? It’s a great gite, for sure and all mod cons are there but the real pleasure is the unobtrusive support you have from Tina and Graham. I must admit I was a little wary about having the property owners living next door but with these guys, it was a real plus point. Sure they have a business to run but the bottom line is that they get that you are on holiday and want as little hassle as possible. It was easy for me to relax quickly. They genuinely care that you have a good time and do lots of very thoughtful things like leaving a welcome pack of gifts, home made chutney, cakes etc They sorted out booking a vet appointment for Hector prior to departure.
All of us had a great time and would return in a heartbeat.

What a lovely holiday we had at Walnut Gite. It is situated in a really pretty rural area with lots of stunning places to visit within easy reach.
Tina and Graham couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing is to much trouble for them and the attention to detail in the accommodation is truly amazing. From the welcome pack to the well stocked kitchen this gite has it all.
They have worked hard on the gardens and there are lots of places to just sit and relax and of course the heated pool is an added bonus.
We visited Josselin, Quimper, Auray and enjoyed a few hours at the beach at Larmor-Plage. The roads we found easy to travel on and there are so many lovely little places to stop along the way. The bakery in Le Sourn is a must for breakfast pastries and bread, its only 10 minutes away and they have the most delicious choux buns. We could easily of stayed another week, the whole place has a calm relaxing atmosphere, just to place to recharge batteries.
We cant wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful week staying at Walnut Tree. On arrival we were met by Tina and Graham, who welcomed us warmly and showed us around the gite. There was also a lovely, generous welcome pack.
The gite is spotlessly clean and Tina and Graham have included everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. There is ample room for six people with towels provided for everyone too. The beds are very comfortable with good quality bed linen.
The outside areas are all well looked after with several options for choosing where to sit and relax. The pool is in its own secure enclosure and, again, is spotlessly clean. It is cleaned on a daily basis. There is a selection of games to play indoors and there is also a covered barn area outside with its own selection of outdoor games.
Nothing is too much trouble for Tina and Graham. They provide any help and advice when needed and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is very obvious that a lot of effort and pride goes into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Where to start!
When we arrived Tina and Graeme were there to meet us and were so welcoming. We instantly liked them and it set the tone for our stay. The gite is spotlessly clean and they seem to have thought of everything that you could possibly need to make your stay the most comfortable, including a lovely welcome pack to start off that includes bread, butter, cake and wine!!! I mean, what more could you want?? :)
The decor throughout is tasteful and beautifully done. As hosts, Graeme and Tina are always on hand if you need anything, and really, nothing is too much trouble but they are not at all intrusive. We had a very restful week, going out for days to lovely towns and villages such as Vannes and St Nicolas. Lamor Plage was around a 40 minute drive away but was worth it! There is a beautiful almost deserted beach, and there are activities here if you want to such as wind surfing, paddle boarding and cycling, all of which you can hire the equipment that you need. We combined these days out with restful days at the Gite and all it has to offer. The peace and tranquillity is just perfect. The heated pool area is spotless and is attended every day by Graeme and Tina, morning and evening to keep this pristine. We will certainly be booking again in the future and recommending to our friends and family. Do yourself a favour and book, you wont regret it!

We had a lovely time at Walnut Tree gite. The welcome pack was nice after a long drive from Belgium. Tina and Graeme are very good hosts. Help where necessary, without being intrusive. Our dog was very welcome. The children could not be beaten by the pool. In the meantime we enjoyed the relaxing garden. The gite is well equipped with everything you need. The area offers many nice excursions. Recommended!

Walnut tree gite is truly exquisite. The gite is fully equipped. The house is not only very comfortable, but also very attractively decorated. Tina and Graeme are wonderful hosts. From the first reception you can feel how much love they have transformed this place into a wonderful holiday resort. Everything has been thought of: a cold bottle of white wine, a welcome pack for dogs, fresh flowers, freshly baked delicious cake and last but not least lovely soft linen. The garden with the private pool is a paradise. Every day we ate outside at the large dining table, where we of course eagerly made use of the top gas BBQ. The kitchen is very complete with plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils. Both bathrooms are neatly clean. It is not necessary to bring toys or games, because that has also been thought of. Tina and Graeme clean the pool daily. That happens unnoticed - early in the morning. The village is wonderfully quiet, with plenty of walking opportunities nearby. On the banks of the Blavet (a 10-minute drive at most) it is wonderful .. also for the dog. With an hour's drive you reach the beautiful Breton beaches. We have been in Walnut tree gite for a week, but it could have been longer. With a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to this lovely place and the cordial owners.: an absolute must!

Walnut tree gite is werkelijk voortreffelijk. De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis is niet alleen erg comfortabel, maar ook heel sfeervol ingericht. Tina en Graeme zijn geweldige hosts. Vanaf de eerste ontvangst is voelbaar met hoeveel liefde zij deze plek tot een heerlijk vakantieoord hebben omgetoverd. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht : een koud flesje witte wijn, een honden welkomstpakket, verse bloemen, vers gebakken overheerlijke cake en niet te vergeten heerlijk zacht linnen. De tuin met het prive zwembad is een paradijs. We hebben iedere dag heerlijk buiten gegeten aan de grote eettafel, waarbij we uiteraard gretig gebruik hebben gemaakt van de top gas-bbq. De keuken is zeer compleet met ruim voldoende servies en keukengerei. De beide badkamers zijn keurig schoon. Het is niet nodig om speelgoed of spelletjes mee te nemen, want ook daaraan is gedacht. Tina en Graeme maken het zwembad dagelijks schoon. Dat gebeurt ongemerkt - in alle vroegte. Het dorpje is heerlijk rustig, met voldoende wandelmogelijkheden in buurt. Aan de oever van de Blavet ( hooguit 10 minuten rijden) is het heerlijk .. ook voor de hond. Met een klein uur rijden bereik je de prachtige Bretonse stranden. We zijn een week in Walnut tree gite geweest, maar dat had best langer mogen zijn. Met pijn in het hart hebben we dit heerlijke plekje en de hartelijke eigenaren gedag moeten zeggen.: een absolute aanrader!

Such a beautiful Gite. We had a lovely holiday at Walnut Tree Gite. The gite was decorated beautifully and was lovely and clean. A gorgeous welcome pack greeted us complete with wine and cake. Tina and Graeme are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. There was lots to do in the surrounding areas but the girls were just happy playing in the pool. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to book the Gite - I’m sure you will have a lovely time.
