Relaxing Breton Holiday Cottage with heated Swimming Pool in Kersulan, Morbihan

Walnut Tree Gîte is a charming, self-catering holiday cottage which is ideal for couples, families and friends who are looking to get away from the day to day hassle and enjoy a peaceful retreat in the wonderful region of Brittany.

​The cottage is set in peaceful, private landscaped gardens with its own heated swimming pool, with all the small touches that make a house a home, located in the beautiful countryside of the village of Kersulan.

The kitchen is large and spacious and offers a focal point island for family and friends to gather around whilst preparing family meals. The kitchen is fully equiped with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and the essential dishwasher, attention to detail has been given to ensuring that the kitchen utensils are good quality and plentiful. Another lovely feature of the kitchen is that there is also a wood burner.

The spacious dining room looks onto the front garden and down to the village, providing a beautiful setting to enjoy family meals around the large farmhouse table and chairs.

​The living room has a tranquil feel with a window and door looking out onto the front garden. It features a wood burner, three seater and two seater sofa with two contrasting armchairs, all located around the coffee table in front of the wood burner.​

There is French and UK televison, dvd's, books and games for guests to enjoy.

Stairs lead from the living room up to a mezzanine bedroom with feature iron, king size bed.

The stairs from the kitchen lead up to a main landing area which leads to the spacious main bedroon with king sized bed and en-suite bathroom, and two further single bedrooms.

All the bed linen and towels provided are luxury hotel quality.

The family bathroom consists of vanity unit, shower cubicle and w.c. The en-suite bathroom provides a vanity unit, bath with overhead shower and w.c.

A corridor from the kitchen leads to the back garden and swimming pool you will also find the downstairs w.c and utility room with washing machine.

Outside you will find the private garden with heated swimming pool.

The swimming pool is 3.5m x 6m and is 1.5m deep. In 2021 it was totally renovated with the added benefit of being heated to a glorious 26 degrees. The pool is fenced and secure so if you have children you have peace of mind. We also provide pool towels for use around the pool.

Relax in the peaceful garden, which has many colourful flower beds, there are various places to sit and chill, pick from the seats in front of the house to watch the sun come up with a morning coffee, or chill in the garden ruin reading a book or sit at the large Al Fresco dining table which catches the sun all day long, or just simply take a lounger by the pool.

There is a delightful Al Fresco dining area with gas BBQ, the perfect surroundings to sit back relax and enjoy life.

In the hangar you will find various out door games including dart board and table tennis.

From us to you, we provide a welcome pack which consists of red & white wine, bread, cheese, butter, jam, chutney, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, spices, herbs and nibbles.

We also provide all Eco friendly cleaning products, toilet paper, kitchen paper, cling film and foil, tea towels and oven cloths.

There is parking for two cars.

We do accept up to two small size dogs at an additional charge of 40€ per dog.
