Le Bocage is a spacious 4 bedroom house with private heated pool, set in a rural location in southern Vendee. The property can accommodate up to 10 people. Situated in a farming hamlet, La Mariniere, 3 miles from the village of Le Poire sur Vie that has shops, supermarket, bar and restaurant. The house is 22 miles from the coastal resort of St Gilles Croix de Vie where you will find an attractive fishing port and sandy beaches, and also within easy reach of Les Sables d'Olonne. There is also a bathing lake with beach and boat hire at nearby Apremont (11 miles). There are many holiday activities and places to visit in the area including La Roche sur Yon, the 'capital' of the Vendee with good shopping, bars and restaurants, summer events and an indoor fun-pool. There is also a superb forest adventure park at 26 miles.
The accommodation comprises:
The ground floor consists of a well equipped kitchen with dining table and patio doors leading to the terrace, plus a spacious lounge that also has patio doors out to the terrace. Large utility room. Separate toilet. Bedroom with en-suite shower & toilet (this bedroom is fully wheelchair accessible).
The first floor consists of two double bedrooms, each with an ensuite shower room & toilet, bedroom with two single beds and a double bed, plus a further bathroom and separate WC.
Other facilities include: Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, tumble dryer, Sat. TV, DVD, Wi-Fi internet.
Private heated swimming pool, terrace with garden dining furniture, BBQ, lawn area. The owners live nearby in the hamlet.
Wheelchair accessible property. The pool is in a walled area with lockable access making it child safe.
