Cro Bique is a superb holiday home in the Dordogne region, South-West of France. It is located in the picturesque village of Beynac. You are just a short walk from the delighful village, which belongs to the 'Plus beaux villages'. The house is situated in a quiet street on the way to Beynac Castle. the property has wonderful views from the double sun terraces where you can bask in the tranquility and the beauty of the surroundings.

The chalet comprises: on the first floor, a comfortable living-room, dining area, spacious kitchen and a toilet. On the first floor there are three good sized bedrooms and a bathroom/wc. The house is pleasant and well equipped for long stays. Other features include , two big terraces,a barbecue area and a terraced back garden which backs onto the forest. There are plenty of places in the garden where guests can relax and enjoy a good book.
It is a "Home away from home".
A short walk will take you to the delightful village which belongs to the "Plus beaux villages en France".

The cobblestone streets, the cute shops and galleries, the promenade along the Dordogne river takes you back in time. During the summer months, you can take a river trip on Gabarres (traditional barches),or an adventurous canoe ride and glide past some of the most beautiful castles in the area. The natural scenery is stunning, and there are lots of walking/bicycle routes that will take you to lovely places and views. A short drive to Les Eyzier, will take you on a journey in time - from Neanderthal to Cro-Magnon.

The Musee National of Les Eyzier is the centre of the world's biggest concentration of sites and well worth a visit. It is also close by other interesting places like chateaux Castelnaud , La Roque Gageac ,the Fenelon castle, the gardens of Marqueyssac, d'Eyrignac.,etc. The medieval towns of Sarlat, Domme, Le Bugue,Rocamadour and Montpazier are also worth exploring and very interesting.

For lovers of gastronomy, this is the area of Foie Gras and Truffles, and many recommended restaurants are specialized in wonderful ,traditional cuisine.
