Look forward to making new friends, or come with exisiting ones! Le Noyer and Le Lierre are ideal for 2 families holidaying together.
We are resident on-site, and take pride in our provision of clean and well maintained self-catering French holiday cottage accommodation. We are here if you need us, and will enjoy having a chat with you, without being intrusive.
Ideally situated away from main roads and with village facilities close-by you can really feel that you have got away from it all, without going off the beaten track entirely!
The market towns of Châteaubriant and Bain de Bretagne are just 15 kms away for all your shopping needs.

Our largest holiday gîte, Le Lierre, is a restored 18th century cottage retaining original chestnut joists, floorboards and fireplace and is ideal for families with children happy to share the triple bedroom, with extra room for baby in the cot on the landing.
Le Lierre overlooks the play area and is adjacent to Le Noyer making the 2 gîtes ideal for 2 families holidaying together.
The ground floor has a fully fitted kitchen and dining room including electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and all those other kitchen needs. The separate living room has two sofas plus a double sofa bed. Upstairs are a double bedroom; a three-bedded room (in 1 single plus bunk beds) and a spacious shower room with WC.
Rear terrace with BBQ, picnic table, chairs and sun loungers.

In-ground 8.5 x 4.3 metre heated swimming pool has a 1.0 metre shallow end for children, sloping to 1.6 metre in the deep end.
The pool is heated by a dedicated air-source heat pump, as opposed to a solar based system.
Pool security in France is very well regulated and we have installed both fencing and a plunge-sensor alarm for your childrens safety.
The play area at Le Portail Bleu is designed to delight and amuse your little adventurers... with plenty of space for kids to be kids, things to climb on, swing on, jump on, balance on and zip along - plenty to keep them occupied whilst you enjoy a moment of calm on your gîte terrace, happy in the knowledge that the entire garden is fenced and gated and created with children in mind.
Overall we have 9 acres for you to enjoy and explore, 2 acres of enclosed gardens and access to the 7 acre field from the play area, for kite flying, bug hunting and watching the clouds go by!
Beside Le Noyer gîte we have a storage box with outdoor games including footballs, soft tennis, badminton and frisbees.
Our chickens, ducks and goats, our resident "gardeners", will happily eat leftover bread, carrots and cabbage leaves, however this does mean that we are unable to accept pets on site, sorry!
One afternoon a week the over 7's can try their hand at archery in the field with Guy and Sarah! (peak summer only)
