Liebevoll eingerichtetes, provenzalisches Landhaus
Mit unserer Tochter waren wir zu dritt für zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen, liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtetem, hervorragend ausgestatteten und sauberen, französischen Landhaus. Ein Highlight war vor allem, dass wir gleich mehrere Terassen zur Verfügung hatten. Gleich gegenüber eine Terasse zum Essen mit viel Schatten auch tagsüber, ein Gewölbe (falls es geregnet hätte) und die obere Terasse, von der aus wir den Sonnenuntergang mit tollem Ausblick genießen konnten. Zu unserer Erholung hat zudem beigetragen, dass es sehr ruhig war.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war problemlos. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte über einen Schlüsseltresor und sie war jederzeit bei Fragen ansprechbar.
Lagnes ist ein kleiner Ort und wunderbar als Startpunkt für viele kleine und größere Touren geeignet. Ein Bäcker ist 100m entfernt, in der örtlichen Bar (auch 100m entfernt) oder dem guten örtlichen Restaurant (250m entfernt) kann man zudem den Abend auch gut ausklingen lassen.
Die Provence ist außerdem immer und auch immer wieder eine Reise wert! Ob kulturelle Highlights (Avignon, Arles, Orange, Pont du Gard und viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten), Landschaft und Natur mit diversen Freizeitaktivitäten (wandern, radfahren, Kanu fahren, klettern etc.), Stadtbummel in größeren (Aix en Provence) oder kleineren Städten (Isle sur la Sorgue), gutes Essen und Wein, hier sollte wirklich jeder etwas finden und diesen Flecken Erde lieben lernen können!

Peaceful getaway
Beautiful property in a lovely, peaceful village. Well equipped and very good info in the owner’s notes. No dedicated parking but plenty of spaces close by even at the height of the busy August season. Excellent boulangerie and restaurant in the village too. Lagnes was a welcome respite from many of the other local, beautiful villages that tend to get overrun by crowds and cars after 9.30. Top terrace has outstanding views in the evenings.

Just perfect!
This property is amazing! The village is very quiet which was great for us after busy days of exploring. The house was clean and had what we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. The part we loved the most was the terrace space. The upper terrace was perfect for sitting in the sun and the ‘cave’ was great for escaping the heat of the day. We would go back to this property in a heartbeat! Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit Terassen zum Erholen und toller Aussicht
Nach unserem Aufenthalt 2020 waren wir so begeistert, dass wir auch dieses Jahr wieder dieses liebevoll eingerichtete provenzalische Ferienhaus in Lagnes gemietet haben. Die Besitzerin ist äußerst zuvorkommend, die Kommunikation war stets komplikationslos. Das Haus ist sehr umfangreich eingerichtet, man findet alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Die Highlights sind aber 1) die Ruhe (abgesehen von ein paar Tiergeräuschen :-)), 2) die zwei Terassen (die untere, auf der man zu jeder Tageszeit im Schatten essen oder sich erholen kann und die obere mit toller Aussicht und Sonnenuntergängen und 3) die Lage innerhalb des Ortes und der Provence mit ihren Möglichkeiten (landschaftlich, kulturell, sportlich).
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und freuen uns schon ein auf ein Wiedersehen!

La maison est dans un village. Elle gagnerai à être décorée plus sobrement.
La maison est agréable mais vraiment surchargée d objets et de couleurs. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas et la propreté inegale. Le jardin (ainsi que les tables et chaises en extérieur) n était pas nettoyé. Beaucoup d insectes. C est dommage car la maison est bien faite dans un endroit très calme en plein centre d’un village typique très agréable.

We had a wonderful time here. If you're exploring the Vaucluse, Lagnes is an ideal base of operations. In addition, unlike many of the other towns nearby, it has not reoriented towards tourists but is an honest-to-goodness French village (with some small farm animals about). The house is the owner's own--and not one of a string of holiday rentals they happen to own--hence the house is well loved and cared-for. The pictures on the site give a good idea of the interior, but in reality it's even better. It's very restful after a long day of activity--or just a good place to laze around all day. Both the owner and the owner's local agent were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We hope to make it back to the Vaucluse some time and when we do we'll plan our trip around the availabilty of this rental!
This is a lovely, comfortable house in a very pretty village a short hop from Avignon. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous - there are beautiful walks to nearby towns such as Fontaine de Vaucluse and Cabrieres, and plenty of picturesque towns and villages within easy driving distance. Lagnes itself has everything you need – a grocery shop, bakery, café, restaurant, etc. There are also great restaurants in Isle sur la Sorgue (about five minutes drive), which has a great market on a Sunday.
We had a wonderful holiday – thank you so much – we’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful cozy, colorful house in quiet area….close to I’sle de la Sourge for fabulous shopping and hanging around the river. When the rooster crows your day begins. Great tabac and pharmacy. I would do it again!

Summer holiday.
Beautiful in a typical French village. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the top terrace. Perfect for a summers evening!
The host Penelope was easy to deal with and has the house well equipped with everything you’d need.
