The gite is comfortable with everything you need for your stay.

There's a large pool and every detail has been made to make this a great holiday base to explore this beautiful region.

Tango has everything you need fro a complete holiday. If you need to relax the pool is great, if you want a bit of exercise there are bikes for use. Access to the canal is easy and gives hours of fun watching all those heading along the canal in their boats. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area. Could we have wanted anything else from our holiday, no all was perfect. Thank you Carol, Andrew and Louis for a great stay. We certainly hope to re visit.

Arrived late afternoon to a very warm welcome. Fridge stocked for a light lunch before relaxing around the pool.

Our two girls aged 10 and 7 absolutely loved the pool and surrounding gardens as well as Lois and the chickens.

Tango has everything you could possibly need during your stay and Carol was only too pleased to offer anything else that you might need.

Fab location to explore if the mood takes you and because of the good roads surrounding Les Petites Ecuries make it possible to travel quite a distance.

For those of you like us apart from the odd trip to the supermarket we just relaxed and enjoyed the lovely warm weather, the pool and long walks along the canal paths watching the boats go through the locks.

Stayed at Tango in August 2016 with my wife and 13 year old son for 9 nights and we absolutely loved it. Tango has everything you could possibly want for a family holiday in this area. The Gite is first class with so many extra touches as well as being spacious, clean and secure. Whereas some Gites could be quite basic and fitted out on a tight budget, Tango is without doubt at the other end of the scale. We felt like our host Carol had really gone above and beyond to ensure that our Holiday was a luxury, trouble free and relaxing experience. Excellent.

The site does not do the property justice ( maybe I shouldn't say this as I might not get chance to book again as it will be full ! )

The property is clean and well maintained, just like a beach property offering wonderful outdoor living, the pool at Tango is larger than normal and is in very private grounds, which are lovely and quite with the church bells reminding you to turn over on the comfy loungers. The big garden slopes down to the Canal Du Midi is really pretty and well maintained giving you extra space and access to walk along to the canal.

The location of the property is less than a n hour from Carcassonne with all the castle, shops, big supermarkets etc and the same to the lovely coast with lots of big sandy beaches . So perfect for lots of days out to abbeys and other places of interest.

Really nice local wine ( which Carol introduces you to in the welcome pack)

Good access to the internet

Beds really comfortable

Handy canopy over the property keeping it cool with a fresh air

Felt very secure with the gated parking

Offering lots of little extras like games indoor and out, towels for pool and for the shower room so no need to bring them

Wonderful holiday property and an exceptional host who was on hand if ever needed

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Tango. Everything was exactly as described and was truly a home from home. Carol and Andrew are the perfect hosts and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The property is fully equipped and and we found that everything we needed was provided without exception. We would certainly recommend it as a base for exploring this beautiful area of France. We found plenty of good restaurants, in particular En Bonne Compagnie in Homps and also Le Somail is worth seeking out as a canalside beauty spot with a number of restaurants. We particularly liked Le Comptoir Nature.

We came back for a short stay at Les Petites Ecuries, this time in Tango, after staying in Bijou in 2012. What more can I say that I haven't already mentioned back then? Everything's perfect, from Carol's warm welcome to super tidy and well-equipped accommodations, including the fabulous salty swimming pool right outside the dining area and master bedroom. We'll be back, I'm sure.

We stayed for 16 days at Les Petites Ecuries. It's a perfect location for countless day trips in the area (Cathare Castles, Abbayes, Canal du Midi, Carcassonne, Caves, nice little to large towns, hiking, Gourmet treats and wineries). The Tango has a very nice, warm and well maintained pool. You find all the needed amenities inside and outside Tango for a great stay (for kids and grown ups).

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay in TANGO. The house was perfectly equipped for all our needs. The garden and surrounding area was superb. Just a short walk along the canal you can watch the boats going through the lock or just sit and watch everything go by.

Carol and Andrew, the owners of the gites were very welcoming and helpful, they obviously are very proud of their properties.

We will go again for sure.

Reading the quote on the fridge confirmed that we made the best decision to stay in the Tango gîte with our family: "life's too short to drink bad wine".

So that's what we did! Carol and Andrew gave us a warm welcome with a cooled bottle and a French baguette. There was a perfect balance between the privacy of the Tango gîte and the availability of Carol to answer our questions.

The kids loved the pool, the swing, the Wii, the chickens and Louie.

All facilities are present and the surrounding villages are certainly worth a visit. Restaurants are child-friendly and not too expensive.

We hope to return in one of the next few years!
