The medieval walled city of Carcassonne, dates back to the 6th century. What better place to see the children's jousting events in August each year, great shows to watch, especially for those little people in the family. Typically you will need to invest in a sword afterwards and luckily these are available.
The O2 adventure park might have you shaking in your boots, Mum, but hey the children will love climbing the trees and walking along the ropes 20-30 metres up in the trees. Great fun for Dads and sons.
Sigean, an African Wildlife Park is 30 minutes away. Drive through sees all those animals, our favourites the Lions, Bears are there right up close and in your face. After the drive through you can walk around and see the rest of the animals, a great day out. We suggest you take a picnic and find a nice spot under the trees in the car park.
There are lots of local markets to visit and pick up home grown & local produce. You have Olanzac on Tuesday, Lezignan Wednesday
