Château de Salettes – Authentic charm in the heart of the vineyards
Weddings & Seminars | Hôtel **** & Spa | Restaurant

Set within the historic Gaillac vineyards in the Tarn region, at the heart of Occitanie, Château de Salettes stands proudly among its own vines, framed by towers and surrounding walls. Dating back to the 13th and 15th centuries, this character-filled residence was once home to the younger branch of the Toulouse-Lautrec family and later the Hautpoul family. General Jean Joseph Ange d’Hautpoul, a notable figure of the Napoleonic Wars, was born and raised here.

Hosting a wedding, seminar, or special event at Château de Salettes means enjoying a truly enchanting vineyard setting, refined cuisine, elegant accommodation, and the attentive service of a dedicated team.

Ideally positioned, the château is just 15 minutes from Gaillac and 20 minutes from the hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel (voted France’s favourite village in 2014). Albi, with its UNESCO-listed episcopal city, Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, and Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, is only 30 minutes away. Toulouse and its international airport are reachable within an hour.

Accommodation & Accessibility
Each room enjoys views over the estate. While some rooms are accessed via stairs, one superior room is fully adapted for guests with reduced mobility, featuring a wide doorway, accessible bathroom, and walk-in shower with seating. Public areas including the restaurant, breakfast room, terrace, and one seminar room are also accessible.

Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10:00am (8:00am to 10:00am on Sundays), either in the dining room, on the terrace, or in your room (room service available at an additional cost). Personalised touches can be arranged during booking or upon request.

Swimming Pool
At the foot of a rocky outcrop overlooking the vineyards, the swimming pool offers a peaceful setting for relaxation and sunshine. Reserved exclusively for hotel guests, it is open from early May through to late October, depending on weather conditions.

Spa & Wellness
Located within the château, the wellness area overlooks the vineyard and the Saudronne valley, offering a calm and restorative environment. Facilities include two treatment rooms (one double), a sauna, jacuzzi, sensory shower, and relaxation lounge.

Guests can enjoy SOTHYS treatments, combining innovative formulas with expert techniques for a truly immersive experience. Spa access is available by reservation:
– Hotel guests: €20 per person (30 minutes private access, excluding packages)
– Non-residents: €40 per person (limited hours, by reservation)

Please note: access is restricted to guests aged 16 and over. Bathrobes, towels, and slippers are provided.
