Very Spacious gite comprising all modern amenities located in a rural setting. Renovated barn with 3 spacious bedrooms all with en suites, situated just 4 km from our nearest Town of Saint Savin.
The Gîte offers extremely spacious accommodation with exposed beams, tiled floor and a light airy feel throughout. It has been finished to a high standard with all the equipment you would expect to find in a holiday rental of this quality.Guests have exclusive use of all the facilities and the property is ideally situated for exploring the many attractions in the Region including Futuroscope.
The Gite is very private and boasts amazing views from the swimming pool area overlooking fantastic countryside. There are enough sun beds provided for all guests and there are table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Accommodation:
Very spacious property both internally and externally, with lots of room for relaxing, dining and enjoying the tranquillity.
Open plan lounge, kitchen and dining with 3 large bedrooms all with en suite walk-in showers and one bath.
Our Gite sleeps 8, cots can be added to the spacious bedrooms.
To the side of the property there is another terrace with patio furniture perfect for relaxing in the shade.
We live on site, but at the other end of the courtyard, so we are nearby if you need us but not close enough to affect your privacy. We are always available to help you with any query that you may have.

The downstairs living, kitchen and dining area are open plan.
The large spacious fully equipped modern fitted kitchen includes a range cooker, kettle, microwave, integrated washing machine, integrated dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster and a large central island unit.
The dining table can sit 8 comfortably and highchairs can be provided upon request.
We have two highchairs available.
Outside should you prefer Al fresco dining, there is a BBQ and dining table and chairs.
Living rooms

Three large, 3-seater sofas provide a comfortable seating area. There is Freesat (English) television, Wi-Fi, a DVD player and a range of DVDs, as well as a selection of books, board games, and puzzles for all ages.
We have a wood burning stove and electric radiators upstairs. Out of the summer season Logs will be provided.

The gîte is located just 3 miles from the beautiful town of St Savin, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983 due to its impressive Abbey with its famous frescoes.
Chauvigny:
The medieval town of Chauvigny is within easy reach. Every Saturday morning it has a very large market which sells almost everything.
La Bussière
Lake with manmade Beach, Bar and Restaurant. Situated 10 minutes' drive from Gite d'Artige. A fantastic place to cycle/drive and enjoy a relaxing day on the manmade beach, you can also hire canoes here.
Angles-sur-l'Anglin:
Although not a town, the village of Angles-sur-l'Anglin is not to be missed. It is classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and it easily lives up to this accolade. The "lower" town offers gentle strolls along the banks of the river, whilst the "upper" town has magnificent views across the valley. In the middle are the ruins of the fortress which was built as a strategic defensive point and the Roc aux Sorciers prehistoric cave carvings.
Well-known for its embroidery, annual book fair and August fireworks display, this pretty village is definitely worth a visit.
Poitiers City
Poitiers (the capital of the Vienne) is approximately 45 minutes' drive. It has an abundance of historical architecture (particularly from the Romanesque period), museums, shops, restaurants and cafés, as well as an indoor market.
The City has a number of parks and gardens dotted about; and there are paths alongside the River through protected nature areas.
Futuroscope:
Just north of Poitiers is the second largest theme park in France. Futuroscope theme park on a site (131 acres) is packed full of animations, technology and multimedia experiences to provide an exciting day out for all the family.

Special Rental Conditions
Stair gates, highchairs and cot bed/travel cots provided on request at no extra cost, bedding for cot bed and travel cots are supplied also with baby towels.
Smoking is permitted outside of the property.
We do not except pets.
