We found the Little House perfect for our needs. Everything was neat and in good working condition. Our son loved the board games and the outdoor games provided and I loved the excellent selection of novels to read. It was a great place to spend our winter at. You need a car or bikes because everything is a little too far to walk to, although we did walk to the Grand Pietro Restaurant to get access to internet.

A perfect holiday home with fantastic owners. Ever..

A perfect holiday home with fantastic owners. Everything you think you may need and some things you had not thought of, are there. Just what you want for a holiday villa. Well maintained and updated on a regular basis. Substantial library of books catering for most tastes together with brochures and maps of the area. Visitors book completed by previous visitors ensure you always have something new to discover. Perfect location. Quiet, close to the beautiful beaches, walking distance to bar/cafe/boulangerie.

What a joy to go back to the little house we found..

What a joy to go back to the little house we found 3 years ago, it seems home from home now as we have spent our last 3 holidays there. We have spent many holidays in France visiting the atlantic side and the med from Menton ( Italian border ) down to Collioure ( Spanish border ), so many beautiful places but when we found the little house at Bormes we decided it had everything we wanted for a perfect holiday, a beautiful backdrop of the Maures and Bormes village, wonderful clean and sandy beaches. Busy nightlife in Lavandou if you want that or quiet evenings eating at the little house or the too mention to mention restaurants, there is something for everybody.

There are so many places too within easy driving distance, St Tropez is just along the coast but I still prefer Lavandou and Bormes. A trip to Port Cros, one of the islands from Lavandou is a must, we went on the really early crossing as the sun was rising,we felt as if we had gone back in time.

We like to walk so enjoyed the 20 minute walk to the nearest beach and the Intermarche was only a 10 minute walk.

We were very pleased with this well situated, well..

We were very pleased with this well situated, well equipped and comfortable property which is in a quiet area close to several supermarkets and beaches. Reserved parking is right in front of the house.

It is also very close to the beautiful hilltop village of Bormes-les-Mimosas which for a photographer like me has thousands of picture opportunities. In our 1 week stay I visited Bormes 3 times in different

lighting conditions.

Even when the weather was hot it was possible to keep cool in No 95 because the layout of the doors allows air to flow through very freely when both are open.

The owner sends very detailed instructions and guidance after booking and in the house itself is a wealth of information on the area

as well as several novels.

Although it may be 'little', the house is really comfortable and has a very homely feel. It provided everything we (family of four) needed. We made particular use of the back garden and BBQ in the evening - the garden is not directly overlooked and is shaded in the afternoon/evening which is a bonus in the summer. There are a number of nice sandy beaches and coves within about 15 mins drive - most of which provide free car parking. The swimming pool is great for children and is only a couple on minutes on foot from the house. Bormes les Mimosas is a nearby and worth a visit and provides splendid views of the coastline. The house provides a great base for people who like to explore their surrounding area as it is minutes from the coast but also at the foot of the Maures Mountains. If you don't mind a car journey ( and have nerves of steel) the Gorge du Verdon, is spectacular and well worth a day trip. All in all we're happy to recommend this property to other visitors to the area. We are looking forward to returning to the house soon.

This 2 bedroomed house was a delight to stay in. Situated between Bormes & Le Lavandou it is in an excellent position for exploring this lovely part of the South of France. We found the house clean and well furnished with everything you might need. We spent 2 weeks from 6.6.2009 and enjoyed super weather. We had our bikes and visited lots of pretty nearby coastal villages using the efficient cycle paths. The Maures hills were all around and if you were not looking out to sea you were always aware of their green majestic presence. Hyeres, trendy St Tropez, and Cavalaire are near at hand besides trips into the hills with a visit to delightful Bormes a must. The mimosas all in full colour about the area in June and are a picture to behold. As you can tell from this review we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were most impressed with the detailed information supplied by the very helpful owners. Their are plenty of restaurants in Le Lavandou and we particularly liked La Flamm where you can get a 3 course meal for less than 20 euros. We hope you find this review helpful and if you decide to stay in the house you enjoy yourselves as much as we have.

We have been to the 'Little House' twice, and it's like being home from home. Very cosy and has everything you need. The beaches close by are the best in the South of France, and there is so much to do. You can spend the day in Monaco, St Tropez or even make it across to Italy if you want to explore!! Lovely private garden, and very relaxing!! Well recommended, and great value for money. We want to come back in 2008... fingers crossed!

I will try in English, forgive me any mistakes :-) Its a lovely little house and you have for this price everything you need. It is nice to sit outside in a quiet area and use the barbecue or relax, there is shadow and sun, however you like it. also kitchen is good and the distance to the beaches.

We got every information we needed before in the document from the owners. They are very kind and answer quickly if you send an email. We were really happy with this house and we will come back again surely
