Self-Catering Le Lavandou Holiday Rental Villa on the Cote d`Azur, Provence Reviews

Although it may be 'little', the house is really comfortable and has a very homely feel. It provided everything we (family of four) needed. We made particular use of the back garden and BBQ in the evening - the garden is not directly overlooked and is shaded in the afternoon/evening which is a bonus in the summer. There are a number of nice sandy beaches and coves within about 15 mins drive - most of which provide free car parking. The swimming pool is great for children and is only a couple on minutes on foot from the house. Bormes les Mimosas is a nearby and worth a visit and provides splendid views of the coastline. The house provides a great base for people who like to explore their surrounding area as it is minutes from the coast but also at the foot of the Maures Mountains. If you don't mind a car journey ( and have nerves of steel) the Gorge du Verdon, is spectacular and well worth a day trip. All in all we're happy to recommend this property to other visitors to the area. We are looking forward to returning to the house soon.

We were very pleased with this well situated, well equipped and comfortable property which is in a quiet area close to several supermarkets and beaches. Reserved parking is right in front of the house.

It is also very close to the beautiful hilltop village of Bormes-les-Mimosas which for a photographer like me has thousands of picture opportunities. In our 1 week stay I visited Bormes 3 times in different
lighting conditions.

Even when the weather was hot it was possible to keep cool in No 95 because the layout of the doors allows air to flow through very freely when both are open.

The owner sends very detailed instructions and guidance after booking and in the house itself is a wealth of information on the area
as well as several novels.

Just bear in mind that although the house is No 95 the parking space marked on the road is No 55.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was a pleasure renting from such a nice couple.

The owner, Jeremy, was very attentive from the start in ensuring we had all the information we required and our stay was comfortable.

The 'little house' is very sweet and has everything you need and more.

The property is well maintained and boasts the benefits of having a tennis court and swimming pool on site.

It's perfectly located for beautiful bike rides and sight seeing. My husband and I particularly liked to stroll along the beach at Le Lavandou and have our aperitif sat outside a lovely little fish restaurant in the port area looking out on all the amazing boats and ... people watching! (There is a very nice ice cream parlour there too).

We visited Ramatuelle, St Tropez and Grimaud which are just beautiful. Two really pretty little churches in Grimaud.

The property has all we (couple with two children) needed for a holiday at the beaches. The house is nicely furnished, the various household aids are in very good shape. There is WiFi available and the neighbourhood was very quite, especially at night. We were very glad to have found such a nice place.

A great little villa in quiet residential location. Safe environment and parking. Villa has everything needed for a perfect holiday. Cleanliness depends on previous occupants. Good location for lovely beaches, small resort towns and many good walking possibilities. Really picturesque area, particularly with lots of beautiful flowers in bloom and unusual plants, cacti etc Difficult to find fault. Good clear information from the owners who respond quickly. A truly sweet villa that is ideally located and within a short drive to some of the best beaches in the South. This is my third visit at this villa and although small, it is perfect and has absolutely everything you need!! Very clean, front and back garden, good size bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen and dining room/ lounge. Beautiful villages and beaches nearby with great restaurants, cycle routes, diving in the area. Excellent value for money.

We planned a stay as a family with our 5 year old son in early spring to have a quiet time with mild weather ,which worked out just like that.

We spent 4 wonderful weeks in the compact and cosy house ,clean and fully equipped ,2 outside terraces for morning and afternoon sun .Located in a very quiet neighborhood , close to good jogging/hiking/bird watching terrain .Several excellent beaches within 5-15min drive.Good base for day trips to Hyeres,Toulon, Marsaille ...

An abundance of great hiking trails in the area !

Very nice holiday home for a small family of three one being a 2 year old toddler. Sand toys in the shed for our boy, a bbq for dad and a nice terrasses to read on for mom. The swimmingpool was closed in October but the beach at Le Lavandou (5 min away) or at Lestagnol (10 min) were both perfect and the water was still warm enough. I think we might be back - soon.

The " Little House " was just perfect for us. Everything you could ever need was provided, the location was excellent for exploring the region, it was secluded and peaceful and very clean and tidy.

Both gardens were perfect for outdoor eating and evening drinks, the barbecue was excellent and the adjacent car parking a real bonus.

The owners are charming and incredibly helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Charming small house in quiet peaceful area. Ideal location within 10 mins. drive through pine woods to superb beaches. 5 mins. to shops and Bormes les Mimosas, a delightful hilltop village. The house has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to go again.
