Worried about the exchange rate? No need. Our prices are in sterling, the ferry companies charge in sterling, and diesel here is much cheaper!! If you want to dine out, you can eat all you can in local ouvrier restaurants at lunchtime for less than a tenner, there’s a local LIDL, and you won’t need to spend much entertaining the kids as you can’t tear them away from the pool and our woodlands!

Here at Poulmarvezen Holiday cottages (where we can accommodate up to 30+ people, plus babies, toddlers etc.) we have five beautiful properties available to rent, located in the most idyllic of settings. Our cottages are situated at the end of a very quiet lane, south-facing, and with a 180 degree uninterrupted panorama of rolling fields and woodland. These beautiful mellow stone buildings were built over the course of several centuries. The earliest buildings still existing date back over 300 years. These lovely old buildings have been tastefully renovated to the highest standards, so you can enjoy a peaceful relaxing holiday “away from the madding crowds”.

We have a large in-ground swimming pool, 9 meters x 4.5 metres x a constant 1.2m depth, with toddler safety alarm. Please be assured Poulmarvezen is set in the most beautiful setting you could imagine, there are no smells, noise, or eyesores, the photographs are not taken to carefully exclude the undesirable!!. Our properties have been tastefully restored to a high standard, are decorated and furnished in good taste, and will be properly cleaned for your arrival.

On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge with dining area and fully fitted kitchen, tiled throughout with rose-coloured terracotta tiles, which contrast nicely with the clean white walls and white boarded ceilings. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and pieces of Victorian pine furniture, TV, DVD, WiFi, and the smart kitchen area is complete with single-drainer sink unit, fridge-freezer, gas hob, and multifunction microwave oven. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite shower room with W.C. and basin.

On the first floor, under an interesting mansard-shaped ceiling, again with white-boarded ceilings, and with exposed chestnut roof timbers, there is a spacious bedroom with king sized bed, another spacious bedroom with twin-beds, and a shower room with W.C. and washbasin.

The barn is south facing and has fantastic views of the open countryside. Poulmarvezen is at the end of a very pretty lane, there is no passing traffic, so it is very quiet and tranquil. Private garden with garden furniture and barbecue.
