We stayed for one week with 8 persons in this beautiful Manor House near Nuits-St-Georges. It is situated in a rural, absolutely quiet area, but on the other hand you reach many Burgundian highlights easy and fast (Dijon, Beaune, Autun etc.). The house is most charming, with a big and well equipped kitchen, a beautiful, large dining- and sitting room with a wonderful view out of the huge “French windows” into the big garden and the meadows on the other side. The interieur is tasteful with many nice and charming details. The garden with an old stock of trees offers different pretty places to sit – in the sun or in the shadow – and we used the pool daily which was very refreshing after a hot day.

There is a big Carrefour which provides you with everything you need at the first roundabout at Nuits-St-Georges less than 10 min by car.

Our host Mike was most helpful and friendly and fulfilled even our extra wishes with kindness. We all enjoided our stay at “Petit Manoir) very much!

We rented the house to be able to explore Burgundy and enjoy good food and wine together with friends.

We were very impressed by the photos on the website but when we arrived the house was better than we were expecting . An excellent house and location in Burgundy for our adult group of family and friends . The gardens were ideal for summer dining outdoors.

The location is very calm and the sun can be enjoyed all day.

We had two great weeks in the house and can warmly recommend it. Excellent house with friendly and helpful owners.

My wife and I stayed here with my brother, his wife & their baby. The house is perfectly situated in the heart of one of France's best wine centres. Great food, great wine and plenty of easily accessible enjoyable days out. Mike and Hiroko were very helpful and available, but never in the way.

The house itself is magnificent, very spacious, huge garden and amazingly private with all of the amenities you'll need for a complete sejour. Only point to be aware of is most double rooms have two single beds. So if you are more than one couple you'll have to fight for the double bed! It didn't stop the week from being a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We had a great time in this wonderful mansion, a perfect location and a beautiful place to stay.

Mike and Hiroko have created an absolutely lovely manor home (we called it our own little chateau!) The location is absolutely beautiful, private, yet close to the supermarket and the sweet town of Nuits St. Georges. It's also an easy drive to Beaune, probably the best town in all of Burgundy with so much to do and see (and eat and drink!). The city of Dijon and the rest of the lovely towns of the Cote d'Or are also within easy driving distance, so the possibility for excursions are endless! However, you just may prefer to stay at Le Petit Manoir......there's plenty of space (all of it overflowing with character and charm) and a great pool. Mike and Hiroko live on the back side of the property, so they're available should you need them. Mike was very helpful in recommending places to go; one of our favorites was a tasting menu at Olivier Leflaive Freres.......the food was great, the wines exceptional and the informative talks presented to each table individually while tasting were really special! All in all, it was a

very special week.......the next time we return to Burgundy, we will return to Le Petit Manoir!

Mike and Hiroko's petit manoir is a lovely place to stay. Not only are the furnishings and decor splendid, the amenities are very adequate. Six of us stayed (couples and friends in our fifties) and we found the location and layout of the house to be perfect for a relaxing holiday. We ate at 2 restaurants in Nuits St George and they were both excellent. Mike also suggested places to visit - lots of wineries, chateaux, lovely villages - all within easy accessibility during our week's stay. And we were also able to spend many enjoyable evenings at the long table in the dining room drinking and eating the local produce! Definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.
