Welcome to our exquisite large family house with a private pool, situated in the picturesque countryside between Toulouse and Biarritz. This area of southern France, unlike the glamorous Côte d'Azur, is characterized by working farms, forests, hilltop bastides, and markets with local produce. Our historic home, dating back to the early 19th century, is located in the village of Monfaucon, along the Saint Jacques de Compostelle GR101 route. It has been meticulously restored, preserving its old-world charm, and boasts a prestigious 5-star rating from Atout France - France's Tourism Development Agency.
Maison Manéchal, reflecting France's historic leadership in fashionable interior design since the 17th and 18th centuries, is a model of domestic chic. This splendid 5-bedroom holiday home offers a relaxing retreat, ideal for those attending the Marciac Jazz Festival or exploring the Great Sites of the Hautes-Pyrénées, including Lourdes, Gavarnie, and the Pic du Midi.
Each bedroom is comfortably appointed and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The garden, with its blooming roses, provides a vibrant and inviting ambiance. The spacious living room features french windows overlooking the garden, a majestic fireplace, inviting sofas, and an extensive library. The summer kitchen, barbecue, and shaded garden tables are perfect for outdoor dining. The property also includes a 12m x 6m private swimming pool, surrounded by approximately 5 hectares of tranquil land with panoramic views.
Guests can enjoy the complimentary municipal tennis court in the village, savour Gascon cuisine at nearby restaurants, and visit the Château de Pallanne golf course and the Maison des Vins for wine tours and tastings. When the schedule allows, we are very happy to grant you early access or late check-out for an additional fee. This will depend on the schedule of departing / arriving guests and our housekeeping team. As we often receive last minute bookings, we cannot guarantee an early check-in before the day before arrival. However, we will keep you posted on

BABIES AND CHILDREN
Maison Manechal has two baby cots, high chairs, booster seats and baby barriers. We also have a great selection of toys and games for children of all ages. Children should never be left unattended indoors or outdoors during their stay at Maison Manechal.

We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during your stay. We therefore recommend that you do not leave valuables unattended and store them in the safe if possible.
VILLAGE LIFE
Monfaucon is a quiet village, and we ask all our guests to be respectful of our neighbors, especially late at night.
SMOKING
It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside Maison Manechal. If it turns out that you have smoked, a fee of 100 euros will be added to your account. Please do not throw cigarette filters or cigarette / cigar butts in gardens or flower pots.
