A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere awaits you, half way between two charming villages in Lower-Normandy. We are 5 minutes from an old Norman Chateau where guests can visit the nesting storks.  Surrounded by beautiful countryside on a small working farm, with plenty of room for the children to run around, you can be sure of a warm welcome and a relaxed stay.

The farm is 30 minutes away from D Day beaches and the Bayeux tapestry; an hour from Mont St Michel; and 15 minutes to the bars, restaurants and nightlife of Saint-Lo. Easy to find but remote enough for the beauty and charm of the French countryside. We offer accommodation, D-Day beaches guiding from a professional guide, farm activities and tours from a stunning protected park in Manche, Normandy (Parc naturel régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin).


THE YURTS:

Set in your own large field on the farm is an 18' traditional Mongolian Yurt with wood burning stove, private bathroom & kitchen which sleeps a maximum of 4 people.  The King size bed provides a romantic getaway for couples, while the two sofas fold down into sofa beds for 2 extra people.  Families, couples, bikers and groups are welcome.

The Mongolian Yurt is a large, insulated tent, built from a bamboo structure, with a wood burner and gorgeous king size bed.  It is beautifully furnished with two convertible sofas and faux-fur rugs, dining table (and chairs, obviously lol), carpets and storage for clothes.  Importantly though, it is 'off grid'.  That means, no TV... but don't panic... Wifi is available!  

There are games, fairy lights at night, adventures to be had in the large, private field, lots of walks, space for pets and children, shelters to be built and trees to be climbed!  And if you're coming for a romantic getaway, the Yurt provides a secluded and private location with no light pollution.. except from the stars!

There is a private campsite kitchen in your field, as well as barbecue facilities outdoors, and fully functioning bathroom (with electricity so you can charge your phone if you can't leave it behind, hot shower and flushing loo, which is always a relief for those of a 5 star nature).  This is camping without roughing it... proper 'glamping'!  We charge 70€ per night (if you book directly with us) which includes continental breakfast delivered to your door (at a time to suit you), bedding, plenty of wood for the fire and a welcome bottle of local cider in your fridge.

Groups are also welcome in the Yurt field - if you wish to bring a group - otherwise you have the 2 acre field entirely to yourselves.  We have a bell tent available for extra people if you need it and you are, of course, welcome to bring extra tents.  Please contact us for further info. 

Dinner & drinks can be provided, for a reasonable fee, although there are lots of local restaurants available nearby.  Free wifi is available; as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer for a nominal charge.
