Dordogne Country Cottage with Private Recreational Lake, Saint-Priest-les-Fougeres Reviews

Recently stayed at this beautiful Gite with its very own private lake! The property was clean, everything we could ask for, a large enclosed garden for our 2 dogs too and then straight from the gate down to a beautiful lake to enjoy a stroll, swim and a picnic. From the start of planning our trip Gaynor gave us so much info and everything ran smoothly from arrival to the day we made our way back home. There is so much info on the surrounding area in the Gite and Gaynor is always at hand & happy to help with advice and places to visit, we were not lost for things to see, places to find and restaurants to eat in nearby towns. However having dinner with Gaynor and Victor is also as real treat and only a couple of minutes walk back to the Gite after a really relaxing evening or two - one was for my birthday and I was totally spoilt from morning til night. Can highly recommend Brantome and its lovely market, riverside bars and cafes. The Ex Police Rescue Home in Brantome is also well worth a visit. All areas, villages are beautiful. And best of all you really don't need to go far for early morning croissants, bread or a special cake, just a short walk from the Gite - perfect, ideal for supper too washed down with a lovely glass of wine. Would highly recommend and would love to re-visit.
