Dordogne Country Cottage with Private Recreational Lake, Saint-Priest-les-Fougeres Reviews

My husband, myself and our cockapoo Nelson spent the most amazing week in this beautiful gite in its idyllic setting. We had such a relaxing and memorable holiday that we have already booked again for next year, my husband and I have travelled a lot and rarely return to the same place but there is really something rather magical about swimming in your own private lake that has made us want to return!

Gaynor and Vic were great hosts and We can't thank them enough for sharing their own beautiful part of France with us.

The gite had everything you could need and was very well located to visit many of the sights in the Dordogne region. The gite is also within walking distance to the local bakers which was stocked with lots of tasty savoury and sweet treats! Nelson our cockapoo couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and even received some tasty treats of his own when we arrived. A lovely secure garden for him to run about in along with the breathe taking lake for him and us to swim in!

Five stars all round for location, setting, facilities, dog friendlyness! And of course not forgetting Gaynor and Vic. Looking forward to returning again next year.
