Come and enjoy this large, luxury holiday villa which consists of two accommodation areas, The Farmhouse and The Barn, linked by an oak door from both sitting rooms.
This is the perfect way to holiday with family and friends, as you can be together, however still have your own space including two sitting rooms and two kitchens.

The holiday villa is a fantastic family friendly farmhouse that caters for all sizes of groups. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, the very well equipped accommodation has something for all ages and interests.

LOCATION
The villa is located at the end of a 200 metre lane which means it is very peaceful and safe for children. It is situated in a beautiful, peaceful part of the Dordogne, close to Bergerac and surrounded by vineyards, plum orchards and woodlands, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa overlooks Chateau Vigiers Golf course with a Michelin Star restaurant and spa. Our guests receive a generous reduction of 30% on golf rounds.
It is easy to reach by either driving or flying. It is an easy 6 hour drive from St Malo or Caen and only 20 minutes from Bergerac airport or 90 minutes from Bordeaux airport.

HEATED POOL WITH RETRACTABLE COVER
Guests love the stunning heated pool with super views. The pool has the sun all day and is also a wonderful place to enjoy the sun sets. There are plenty of sunloungers under large sun shades. For poolside dining guests have the choice of a huge Kettler dining table with lots of chairs as well as a smaller Kettler table and chairs next to the glass balastrade.
The pool also benefits from a retractable cover which is very easy to use. It has the benefit of keeping the water as warm as possible meaning guests can swim in any weather conditions and at night. 
Visiting families with younger children will enjoy the Wendy House, sand pit and Little Tikes play area which we will place here for their arrival. There are lovely views from the pool terrace over the Lower Garden and also across woodlands and the golf course. The pool is open and warm from Easter until mid November.

LARGE JACUZZI

The jacuzzi is located on the deck in front of The Barn and has wonderful views across the valley. Guests can enjoy it at any time of the day and it is quite special to watch the stars light up the sky, whilst sipping a glass of wine.
The decked area in front of The Barn also has a large Day Bed for total relaxation as well as dining table and chairs.
Small charge for low occupancy and discounted holidays.

BEDROOMS 
All 6 bedrooms have air-conditioning which is essential for a good nights sleep in the warmer months and the villa is one of very few Dordogne holiday villas to have this.

The Farmhouse has 4 Bedrooms
All 4 Farmhouse bedrooms are en suite with hairdryers, heated towel rails, large walk in showers, Grohe sanitary ware, shaver sockets and mirrors, tea and coffee facilities, luxury Bedeck bedding and towels including pool towels, flat screen tv's, UK adaptors

There are 2 ground floor bedrooms;
The Lavender Suite has beautiful views and direct access to the large balcony which has a glass balustrade so as not to interrupt the lovely views. It also has views over the pool area with an en suite shower room, a super-king bed with memory foam mattress and a relaxing sofa which can convert to a single bed
The Yellow Suite has a large en suite bathroom with original cast iron bath and a super-king bed which can convert to twin beds if required.

There are 2 first floor bedrooms, both with views over the countryside;
The Rose Suite has an en suite shower room, a super-king bed and a relaxing sofa which can convert to a single bed
The Green Suite has an en suite shower room, and a choice of a super-king bed or twin beds.

The adjoining Barn has 2 Bedrooms
There is a Master bedroom with super king bed plus a twin bedroom. These two rooms share a luxury bathroom with double ended Sottini bath and wash basin with marble top. 
The barn has super views over orchards, vines and the golf course.

LARGE GARDENS AND GROUNDS
There are extensive grounds to enjoy with space for everyone. Lots of thought has gone into proving numerous areas for guests to sit and relax in, together with high quality seating and cushions.

The Upper Garden is a one acre space with the pool area, the circular enclosed driveway and a huge garden with a super size trampoline with enclosure and steps. There is a seating area at the far end of this Upper Garden with views over the golf course and towards the large field where donkeys can sometimes be seen.

The Lower Garden is accessed from the pool terrace down wide steps. This is a very beautiful, peaceful area with a seating area around a covered well for al fresco dining and sun downers. Relax with a book in the two swinging hammocks or enjoy a game of table tennis here too.
Guests can also reach the Lower Garden by taking a stroll down the little lane and then following a grassy path alongside the golf course. Dog owners particularly enjoy this walk as well as families with young children who wish to enjoy a short stroll.

FAMILY PETS
We have been welcoming much loved family dogs for 10 years now very successfully and indeed with many returning each year. The majority of local restaurants and vineyards welcome them too. There are lovely walks directly from the house through the vineyards and along the single track lanes. It is very easy to bring them on the ferry in the dog friendly cabins.

WALKING, CYCLING AND WINE TASTING
The villa is surrounded by a network of single, track lanes without hedges and very few cars, which are perfect for cycling and walking. One of the great joys in rural France is to enjoy a walk or cycle to a local restaurant. Tracey can provide routes.
We have strong links with several local, family and dog friendly vineyards for our guests to also enjoy.

Enjoy the excellent local golf at Chateau Vigiers, just a minute’s drive away.

The area has an abundance of local food markets, including the beautiful Sunday morning Issigeac market.

Foies Gras is a speciality of the region and at visit to the Ferme de Sirguet is recommended.

There are many medieval bastilles to explore, including Castelnaud and Chateau Biron.​

Guests have a great choice of places to eat, ranging from the local cafe Cafe 1500 in Saussignac, to the wonderful L’Imparfait restaurant in Bergerac and the incredible 1* Michelin restaurant Les Fresques at Chateau Vigiers, a short walk from La Grange.​

Canoeing on the Dordogne, is a must during the summer months and is a great experience for all the family. Take a picnic for the tiny river beaches as you gently travel downstream.

​Bergerac has a choice of shopping, go-karting, paint balling and indoor bowling.

Eymet is a quaint little town to explore.​

Special Rental Conditions

For Rentals of 2 weeks or less, a non-refundable deposit, subject to clause 8.4, of 50% of the Rental price must be paid within 7 days o

Making your provisional reservation.
-The balance must be paid not less than 3 months prior to your arrival at the Property plus the Security Deposit of £1,000.
-For Rentals of more than 2 weeks duration the following payments must be made; 1st payment of 50% of the Rental price at the time of booking, 2nd payment of 25% of the Rental price by the 31st December in the year prior to the Rental; and a 3rd payment of 25% of the Rental price plus the Security Deposit of £1,000 not less than 3 months prior to your arrival at the Property. If your Rental falls before the 31st December in the same year as the Rental, then the 1st deposit payment is 75% of the Rental price and the 2nd payment is 25% of the Rental price plus the Security Deposit of £1,000 not less than 3 months prior to your arrival at the Property. 3.4 Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 5% above the Bank of England base rate and we are also entitled to treat your booking as cancelled if you fail to pay the balance on time, see Cancellation By You, clause 8.
-Bookings taken within 3 months of your arrival must be paid in full, plus the Security Deposit of £1,000.

CONTRACT

Once we have received your Booking Form and the appropriate deposit payment, we will confirm your booking by issuing a Confirmation to the party leader. Contact us immediately if any information that appears on the Confirmation or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later.

A binding contract between you and us will come into existence on receipt of your deposit and the Completed Booking Form.

RENTAL:

The prices given are in GBP and the Rental price is weekly, unless otherwise stated.
- The Property is let fully furnished and equipped. The Rental price includes linen and electricity, except during the Low season.
- We reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors in advertised prices at any time before your Rental is confirmed. We will advise you of any error of which we are aware of at the time of booking.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

A Security Deposit of £1,000, is required to cover the cost of any damages or breakages to, or at the Property and for the private use of the telephone see Telephone Charges clause. This amount will be payable with your final Rental balance payment.

It may take up to 2 weeks after your departure from the Property to return the Security deposit to you. Delays can be caused whilst waiting for proof of damage and telephone consumption.
The cost of any damage caused by you will be deducted from the Security Deposit and the remaining balance will be returned to you. If the Security Deposit paid by you is not sufficient to cover the cost of such damage, we will be entitled to recover any additional costs from you, including legal costs.

Some damages may not be immediately obvious to us upon your departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage noted in the Property after your departure.
Unless otherwise specified, the Security Deposit will always be refunded to the party leader

We reserve the right to hold the Security Deposit for longer than 2 weeks if there is a dispute over damage, or we are awaiting bills or proof of damage.
