Charming Cottage with Private Garden Located in the Heart of The Dordogne, Near Sarlat

La Coyenne is a charming 100+ year old cottage, located in the heart of Dordogne. The property has a secluded woodland garden, which provides a haven for guests to relax and disconnect. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably and features a large living room, a “foody” kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and modern amenities (including wifi). Plenty of off- road parking.

For those who are seeking somewhere to really relax, La Coyenne is perfect. Set on the south side of the Dordogne valley, it is ideal for sunbathing and nature lovers with lots of local walks and many birds in the garden and abundant wildlife. The river is a short distance away and a local market almost every day.

La Coyenne Comprises: 

A very well equipped kitchen with a Rangemaster cooker (5 ring gas hob, electric oven), large fridge, freezer, microwave etc. You can eat inside or on the patio, either under the veranda or an awning that is electronically driven.

A sitting room with wood burning stove, comfortable seating, a TV with freesat (in English, French terrestrial programes also available ) DVDs, and (classical) music CDs etc. There is an extensive selection of light reading (in English).

Three bedrooms – a twin and single and shower room on ground floor, a double and shower room via stairs.  The bedrooms are arranged so that 4 guests can organise the sleeping arrangements as they wish. 

All towels and bed linen are supplied and there will be a full set of clean linen supplied for each guest at the start of their holiday. We do not have a laundry service but the cottage is equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer (and a clothes line for air drying),

There is a small lobby area where an "office" has been set up, which holds a computer and printer which guests can use. There is also Skype, a webcam and the router supports Wi-Fi. There is also a landline if guests wish to have the phone connected during their stay (at a small cost).

There is a fan in each room and an air-conditioning unit in the living room. There is an insect net over each bed so windows may be left open at night if preferred. .
