Fantastic place to stay, great views over towards Monaco where we caught two firework displays! Lots of steps down to village and back, lovely local restaurants. Would love to visit again. Thanks for sharing your apartment with us.

We arrived late and had a bit of trouble locating the place but once in we relaxed straight away. Local bars and restaurants were good quality and little shop kept us going. Locals all v friendly and helpful. Sat on balcony every evening with our drinks. We did the 800 steps to the beach which kept us fit! Got to see E1027 which was main reason for our little jaunt. Would come again.

The apartment was clean and well-appointed. The view from the balcony is outstanding. We had happy hour and ate dinner there every evening.

Cosy apartment close to the historic centre of the village with its charming alleys and wonderful views. A visit to the medieval castle is a must as is a visit to the excellent restaurant 'The Grand Inquisitor'. Jill's apartment had everything needed for a self catering holiday, was very quiet and has stunning views from the balcony.

Back for another stay at this well located, clean, modern and secure apartment that offers close proximity to the Riviera lifestyle but with a delightful medieval village atmosphere to savour on return from your daily explorations by car, train, shuttle bus or foot.A dedicated parking spot is included and is most welcome on arriving back from some of the busier neighbouring coastal hot spots.

The heart of the village is a maze of ancient alleys, staircases and quaint houses and workshops that make for fascinating wanders and exploration and let you soak up the local community spirit-friendly and lively with numerous restaurants, coffe spot, bar and shop that are of good quality and with young enthusiastic staff that facilitate many a pleasant evening only steps from your front door but without the crowds from the beachside haunts.Get back to your own balcony and enjoy the firework displays from across the bay for a great end to busy days.

Open country and ancient perched villages are only a step away in the other direction along the networks of walking trails and the train station down the hill gives access to Italy,Nice ,Cannes and other coastal strip favourites. The local "no 21" shuttle bus is superb, goes as far as Menton/ Monte Carlo and at E1.50 per person any distance is a gem-go down to the stop at the "Lavoir" below Jill's apartment and come back to "les Genets" above and you don,t have to climb up a step at all-just the one onto the bus.

This apartment, location and community are a "favourite place" for us and we would recommend to any whose interests are similar-a great mix of old and new Riviera but with the need to explore by foot on occasions to get the best that it offers.

We arrived exhausted after a long drive and as soon as we saw the apartment we relaxed and knew that we were very lucky to be in such a unique area. The apartment is very well equipped to a high standard. We would love to return sometime.

We really appreciated this apartment in Roquebrune (village). The village is stunning, is a great place to explore and has several good restaurants. Being a little on altitude (250m) means it's somewhat cooler in the evening, has a welcome breeze and is also away from the crowds. A car is ideal, though there seems to be a good bus service (not tried).

For the apartment, we really appreciated the stunning views. A real 180-degree view of the coast, Monaco and the hills of Roquebrune; the lack of vis-a-vis (hence the view) and the terrace (though small) is still great for a meal for two. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen (someone likes to cook or thinks of others who do) and the parking space available. Our first time in Roquebrune (though not to the area) and would definitely return, and to this apartment.

Many thanks to Jill for a stay made easy.

A lovely apartment which was exceptionally well equipped, clean and well-maintained. It had wonderful views looking out towards Monaco from the balcony. We had a very efficient service from Jill, the owner, who promptly replied to our queries and gave very good instructions on how to find the property.

We loved the old village of Roquebrune Cap Martin - what a gem! Everyone was really friendly and we liked the fact that a lot of locals live there and it wasn't over run with tourists.

We didn't have a car which didn't bother us as we made use of the local shuttle service in the daytime and in the evenings there was a choice of 4 really good restaurants in the village. We did also venture up and down the steps to the village a couple of times which were well -lit in the evening.

We will definitely be returning!

This apartment is absolutely delightful. Simple yet very nice, and a view that just can't be beat! It's located in a beautiful village but is extremely close to everything. A car is essential (there is a tight but covered garage for use) but I did notice a shuttle routinely around so I believe public transit is an option. Everyone around is very nice and there are amazing restaurants near by. The local hotel/restaurant has a dining area out of a novel and food that's tough to beat. The hotel/resturant is also very well priced considering the quality of food, service, and view. I will absolutely be staying again here in the future.

A little note though: HOLD ONTO YOUR PACKET! We forgot ours and Jill was extremely patient with helping us find everything. However if we had just remembered our packet that Jill had sent everything would have gone smoothly. The apartment is a bit tough to find but definitely worth it.

Thanks for Everything!
