We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday in the Maison du Four. Located in a very tranquil and beautiful hamlet with views overlooking the Lot Valley, the cottage was beautifully restored & furnished to an excellent standard. It lacks nothing in terms of comfort & facilities. Wonderful area for walks, bird-watching, wine & restaurants, kayaking & historic towns such as Conques nearby. Our two week visit in July was blessed with great weather. Ideally suited to couples wanting a romantic hideaway.

Thee Maison du Four lives upbtovthe listed information.
This is a part of France we love and the cottage is set in a very tranquil setting with tremendous views across the valley. All the facilities you need. We were not so lucky with the weather, upper teens/low 20's.
As it is owned by Brits who live locally, the beds were comfortable.....so much better than previous gite experiences.
If you want a beauty and peaceful place, this is it.

We stayed at Maison du Four for a week in July whilst on a motorbike tour of France. As has been said, the cottage is beautifully restored, is very well and comfortably equipped and sits an idyllic situation overlooking the Lot valley. Sadly we had awful weather so could not appreciate the views at their best. It is a lovely part of France and not as well known as many regions, so the lovely villages around are quite unspoilt. A couple of miles into the village there is a well stocked shop

The sensitive restoration of this old cottage has resulted in quality accommodation in spectacular surroundings. The owner's photos and description of the cottage are justified and we endorse their commentary about the surrounding area, activities and attractions. We had a most enjoyable time exploring the back roads, tiny hamlets, great villages and of course Conques. Good food and wine enjoyed at the cottage and in some lovely restaurants, complemented the experience.
