A Piece of Heaven in the Forest
On a recent visit to the Dordogne my wife and I booked into this property for 5 nights. Thought it looked a nice place on the Internet, That was an understatement ,it turned out to be absolutely spot on The beautiful bedrooms ,loads of space and a most comfortable bed. Our hosts Alain et Byrne are two wonderful guys ,nothing was a problem to them,we honestly could not have been made more welcome Each morning after a superb breakfast they would give us a little note Your Dinner venue for tonight and directions how to get there. Not knowing the area well,it was wonderful not having to drive round looking for a place to eat. These were all restaurants that Alain & Byrne knew well, and we were certainly never disappointed. The B & B also had a swimming pool, great as the weather…

Best B&B of our trip in France
We stayed in a spacious room which was decorated with love and charm. The beds were excellent, the sheets were very soft and delicate. The breakfast was the best. Every morning we got a very warm welcome to enjoy the wonderful breakfast in the living room together with other guests.

The Perfect B&B
Alain Pioton and Byrne Fone have carved out a piece of heaven among the trees of the Dordogne. It is the perfect place to unwind from the fast paced world. The rooms are huge, extremely well appointed and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and inviting. The compound is in close proximity to many of the thousands of excursions one could take in this region of France. To help you decide, Byrne will help you set your itinerary for the day and give you accurate reviews and directions, so that your adventures are stress free. Alain will help you with your dinner reservations for the extraordinary restaurants this region has to offer. The breakfasts, with fresh fruit, pastry, breads and jams are delicious. Our four day stay was one of the highlights of our trip and we hope to return…

Back Again and Booked for Next Year Already
This wonderful B&B is now our permanent base north of the Dordogne river when we visit this fabulous area of France. Situated in a perfect location, quiet, and brilliant to explore the area - Bergerac, Perigueux, Sarlat and beyond. However, the wonderful thing about this B&B is the owners - Alain & Byrne (as a Professor of English, Byrne might correct my grammar here). The welcome here is exceptional, Alain and Byrne are such fun and cater, as far as they can, for every need. The thing we love about this B&B is that it is immaculately clean, in the rooms, and the pool, and the grounds. On this trip at the B&B we encountered Roe Deer, Badgers, Little Owls, and Bats. The bird life is wonderful but as ever needs patience to observe. Breakfast is brilliant and can actually see you…

Beautiful and welcoming in the Dordogne
We stayed in La Milasserie before and enjoyed it very much. Now june 2016 we stayed agein for three nights and enjoyed the warm hospitality of Byrne and Alain once more. When staying in the Dordogne not to be missed. Spacious and comfortable rooms with your own entrance, a nice garden with pool, and a rustic atmosphere. Just what we were looking for in the Dordogne. Peaceful and beautiful B&B
We spent 6 nights at La Millasserie and had a great time. The room was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and very comortable. Everything we needed was in the room. The hosts were very welcoming. They gave us excellent restaurants recommendations and made the reservations for us. It was very convenient. They also helped us planning the day by recommending villages to visit and places to see. We used their useful tips and had an amazing time. We will not forget this wonderful Dordonge vacation at the beautiful La Millasserie B&B.

Great B & B in the Countryside
La Millasserie consists of four rooms, large, airy, nicely furnished, with wonderful beds in a the middle of the countryside a few miles from Tremolat. There is nothing to fault the place. And the prices are astonishingly low.

Your own country house
We cannot say enough about the wonderful hospitality shown to our group of four during our visit in May. We enjoyed talking and visiting with the owners through our three day stay. The location of the accommodation is perfect for visiting much of the beautiful Dordogne area east of Bergerac. The rooms are quite spacious, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The inn is located in a quiet wooded area with almost no traffic passing by at any time. The breakfast was bountiful and very tasty. The owners take a great deal of time providing any assistance needed in touring the area. (A rental car is a must in this area unless you really just want to rest for your entire visit.) The hosts went out of the way to assist one of the members of our party who was a bit ill one morning during…

Highly recommended
We spent three days at this quite charming and tranquil place. The accommodation is comfortably spacious and well appointed with extra large beds. Hosts Alain and Byrne went out of their way to make us feel at home and ensured we had a short break to remember. No hesitation in recommending this delightful place.

Quite Charming
My partner and I had a lovely stay in this charming guest house. The room was spotlessly clean and well designed. Alain makes delicious continental breakfasts and Byrne provides all the advice you could possibly require to help you explore and enjoy the local towns. All the restaurants they booked us into were superb. If you're OK with driving and you want a tranquil child-free environment in a picturesque setting with nice people then I really don't think you could do any better than this. We will certainly be returning some day.
