The property is superb. Beautifully clean and well kept with just about everything you need including a great shower. It is situated on the edge of the wetlands about 1km from the beach and the area is nice and flat for short bike rides on the bikes provided. The village of Ault is nearby which looks incredible viewed from the wetlands and is very nice close up as well. It's easy to ride or drive to for croissants in the morning. The nearby towns of St Valerie sur Somme and Noyelles sur met are extremely pretty, the former has a fantastic "go ape" style treetop parcours centre for kids. The very chic and sun bleached town of Le Crotoy is not not much further with a great beach. Le Touquet is within easy reach as is Dieppe and Le Tréport.

The owners communication is superb and very helpful with a booklet providing all the necessary information. He kindly phones you once to check everything is ok and although we never needed him, a handyman lives nearby in case of a problem.

This area was not one I would ever have initially have thought of in the same way as Normandie or Brittany but is was a great find with plenty to do, still typically French and yet a very short journey to the French side from the Chunnel. I would add that the weather was very good whilst there and that the photos here perhaps do not quite do it the justice it deserves. I can heartily recommend both the accommodation and the location. Hope to go back, possibly without the kids to make the most of it all.

Great location as private and off the main roads, yet within easy reach of the beach. Great walks, runs and bike rides from the house, to the beach and local towns. A big appeal was that is just 1.5hours from Calais so having left home that morning we were on the beach in the afternoon! Good family home with all that you need. Excellent communication from the owner beforehand with regard any queries I had, and what we might need when there.

This is a fantastic Farm house with stunning views.

The house is equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday. It is situated in a quiet village with a friendly bar to be found at the end of the lane, and supermarkets a few minutes drive away. The village is located close enough to some pleasant local towns especially Saint Valery sur Somme, which makes the house an excellent touring base.

We stayed at the farm house for the first time in September 2009, and have already booked to return in September 2010.

This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your holiday. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone except people with disabilities as the stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms. The location and facilities are spot on and two cars can park under shelter very easily. We will certainly go back again.

Not 100% sure what we were expecting given the farmhouse is close to Calais and the area doesn't normally rate as 'choice destination' but we had a wonderful 2 weeks based upon very reasonably priced and practical accommodation in a beautiful area.

The property is very well appointed for a break. It is practical with some high points like the kitchen and shower room. The views from main bedroom are quite spectacular !

The owner gives enough information and ideas to make sure you know what/how/where and if that all fails there is a 'caretaker' nearby who can help you out. Everything worked and the support from the owner was the best we have ever received

The property is gated so the kids were able to play outside, our stuff felt safe and it is a pleasant place to sit out in the evening.

Bikes are available to use which can get you down some of the unmarked roads or along the road into nearby towns.

Nearby some very nice towns such as Eu and Treport and beaches and slightly further afield to Amiens and Fecamp.

All in all, a lovely farnmhouse, very reasonably priced in a lovely area. The major selling point is the support you get from the owner. It would suit most people and the guest book seems testament to that

Thanks Ed
