Very Pretty Country Cottage in Manche, Normandy - Bumblebee Cottage Reviews

Enjoyed an October break at this quirky, well appointed and welcoming cottage. The downstairs bedroom and facilities are perfect for anyone with mobility problems.The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking. The large living room /dining area comfortable and welcoming, the wood burner perfect on chilly autumn evenings.By day we explored characterful towns, enjoyed the rolling countryside, walked along the beach watching land yachts speeding past and shopped .

Bumblebee is a lovely cottage with loads of room inside and out and everything you need to feel at home.The garden is outstanding lots of seating area including a covered dining area, fantastic pool, children's swing set and a huge lawn with plenty of room to kick a ball around or play some badminton. Plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive. An excellent place to relax or base to explore from.

We had a fantastic experience at Bumblebee Cottage from beginning to end. The cottage itself was spacious and had a quirky decor. The garden was very picturesque with plenty for kids to do such as football, swings and plenty of exploring. The location was great with a few villages/ towns within a few minutes drive away and lots of bigger attractions within an easy drive away (Mont St Michel, the Bayeux Tapestry and lots of memorial sites were just a few we visited). Can't wait to return.

Had a lovely two weeks relaxing in the sun - then it rained for a week! The rain didn't stop us exploring the area, and when we stayed in there were plenty of DVD's to watch. The fire was lovely when we had a couple of cool evenings.
The cottage is calm, secluded, it was clean and we felt welcome as we walked in the door to find a surprise bottle of wine, and coffee, milk etc for that all important cuppa. Stay again? Can't wait.
