Situated just outside the picturesque medieval village of Vence, this lovely apartment is located near the centre of town on the first floor with elevator access and a patio area perfect for al fresco dining. The apartment is quiet, well equipped,  tastefully decorated, fully furnished and is not overlooked. 

Inside the apartment you will find 2 bedrooms, both have 2 single beds. There is also a child's cot.  The bathroom has a basin, walk-in shower and WC. There is also a separate WC.

Spacious living room includes TV, DVD and CD player with radio, discs and books on the region, dining area has table seating up to 8 and a fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment is popular all year round due to the Mediterranean  climate - sunny summers and  warm and cosy centrally heated environment in the mild winter months. 

Vence is located  between the Med and the mountains. The apartment is in a quiet block at the bottom of a steep drive and has views across the valley to the  Alps snow-capped mountains can be seen on clear days.  It is just a short walk to the old walled town of Vence - near enough to get croissants before breakfast and bring them back warm! The seaside and beaches are within easy reach by car - 10km

The surrounding area is rich in history and art. The apartment is ideally located to explore the famous medieval 'perched villages',  the nearest of which are  St. Paul de Vence (with the celebrated Colombe d'Or restaurant hung with Impressionist paintings) and Tourettes sur Loup, where artists and craftspeople work in their open studios during the summer. With quick access to the main A8 autoroute, places of interest such as Aix en Provence, Arles, Avignon, Antibes (and other Roman centres), Monte Carlo, Cannes and Menton are all easily reached, as are all the famous resorts of the French Riviera.   

An hour's drive will take you to the Italian border town of Ventimiglia which has a wonderful, huge market each Friday morning.
The French winter ski slopes of Auron, Isola and others are all within a 2 hour drive from the apartment.

With elegant shopping available in both Cannes and Nice, the town of Vence has a good selection of shops, banks and local markets. Museums dedicated to local artists - Chagal, Matisse, Renoir, Picasso, and Leger are just some of the local sights on offer in an area where the quality of light attracted so many painters.  Art-lovers will be stunned by the art in the world-famous Maeght Foundation Art Gallery in St Paul de Vence.
