Summer Vacation 2018

We staied at the house for two weeks and we absolutely enjoied our vacation. The house is well furnitured and you are not missing one equipment of the kitchen.
The most we liked was the beautiful garden. There you can read books, make BBQ and drink wine. A totally nice place to relax.
The house is very good located. You are able to visit for example Cherbourg, the beaches of the big invasion and Mont St. Michel in a short while.
So, we recommend this house.

Recommended all round
We spent two wonderful weeks with our dog in the Summer House!
You can tell immediately that the owners have furnished the house for themselves, with attention to detail, and use it themselves. Nothing is missing in the house and the completely fenced-in garden (which is important for us as dog owners) is actually worth another star.

Communication during booking, arrival and after departure was very good and very friendly. We can recommend the Summer House all round!

Perfect vacation in a fantastic environment
Beautiful, very tastefully and lovingly furnished house. Everything was there that was needed, and in sufficient quantities. Big, comfortable beds, which is not a given in France. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is right here. Our dog loved the garden and it was great that you can use bicycles. No German television ... that shouldn't be a problem here. We will definitely come back!

wonderful relaxed vacation
The house is very comfortably furnished. We felt like visiting good friends. The surroundings are wonderful and we spent wonderful holidays. The contact with the landlord is very personal.

Holidays in a family atmosphere
The holiday accommodation was a real bright spot after a long journey. There was nothing missing, even kitchen rolls or coffee for the pad, everything was there for the first meal. It was just a holiday. You can get everything at the little shop around the corner.
About the location .. we took everything and every beach in Normandy. Normandy in the east is not my thing, if you like endless beaches and no people (on the beach) .. ok 1 to 2, you go to the west. Wide open spaces, small places with a lot of flair and charm. Thank you Mr.and Mrs. Beavens for a lovely vacation in your home.

A perfect stay
We spent one week with friends here (altogether 2 married couples in their end-forties) and were absolutely amazed!
From the outside, it has a beautiful garden, nice to relax with a glass of wine. Inside, one immediately notices an particular British style, nice decorations, welcoming kitchen (check some French or German houses for comparison...).
At arrival, you feel at home immediately! The house is fully equipped with everything, even walking maps (we used them for cycling...)
Fire place is nice in the evening, plus a cosy living room, what else do you need?

For us, and we always do self catering, this was love at first sight!
A quiet village, and a wonderful beach just round the corner!
Comfortable beds, bags of room for quite a few people!

Perfect! Relaxing! Charming!

Holidays in the dream summer house
The Cotentin is the ideal holiday region for us. With this beautiful holiday home, paradise (for us) is complete.
A holiday home in which we felt at home.
But contact with the landlords was also very nice.
And that under these difficult corona conditions.

Relaxing vacation ....
Thanks to the great weather, we spent two very nice weeks in the Summer Cottage. Whether relaxing days in the garden or with long walks on the beach, or sightseeing in the surrounding area, ... we felt very comfortable. Those who want peace and quiet are in good hands here.
But I have to subtract half a point: It's much further to the beach and water with bathing possibilities than stated in the description of the location.
