Whether it’s the aromatic air, tranquillity or starry skies, the West Gite is somewhere you can truly relax in a beautiful and private setting.
The West Gite comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open-plan kitchen/dining space with several terraces for open-air dining and chilling. Situated on the ground floor of the house, the gite just like the rest of 4Vents, has stunning views over the mountains, vineyards and medieval chateaux.
Plus you can enjoy our enormous swimming pool (22 x 7 metres), tennis court and 22 acres of private grounds which go down to the River Orbieu, ideal for river swimming.
Set in historic Cathar country, very close to the beautiful medieval village of Lagrasse, 4Vents is a great base from which to explore the rich tapestry of the area: from castles and beaches, to great bike riding, wine tours and river swimming, there is always plenty to do!

Nearby is the medieval village of Lagrasse, regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in France, with all the amenities you could want including cash-point, boulangerie, epicerie, restaurants and shops. The nearest commercial centre with supermarkets is Lezignan. The white sandy beaches at Gruissan and Leucate are 40 and 55 minutes away and there are many great seafood restaurants to choose from.
Biking is hugely popular locally with some of the best roads in the world and the Pyrénées are on your doorstep. Plus you can enjoy river swimming, walking and hiking. If history interests you, there is La Cité citadel at Carcassonne and numerous Cathar castles in the area to visit.
