The Charente holiday rental house is positioned at the top of the hill and therefore enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding valleys and the small village of Villebois Lavalette (population about 750). The town is easily accessible from the house and is host to numerous amenities including two boulangeries, a butchers, patisserie, a small hotel with restaurant, a bar, a grand town hall, and best of all…the 17th century covered market selling wonderful local produce just 200 metres from the house. There's even a Super U supermarket less than 1/2 mile away.
