Provencal Style Villa with Private Pool, Sea Views in Cavalière, Le Lavandou, Cote d`Azur
Superbly located, spacious holiday villa that boasts stunning panoramic views over the bay and to Cap Nègre. It is set in the partly wooded foothills behind Cavalière.
There is much to see and experience in the surrounding area. Cavalière has its own long sandy beach 15 minutes walk from the villa with shops, beach bars, restaurants and a variety of water sports including jet skiing, water skiing, sailing, wind surfing and parasailing. There is a tennis club with a restaurant just five minutes from the villa and lovely walks in the surrounding hills. A cycle track along the old coastal railway line from Cavalaire-sur-Mer to Hyères runs through the village. Bikes can be hired in Le Lavandou.
Le Lavandou is 7kms to the west and offers an excellent variety of shops, bars and restaurants plus a very good local market. Boat trips offering spectacular coastal views can be taken from Le Lavandou harbour to Les Iles d'Hyères 45 minutes offshore. Vibrant and colourful St Tropez is 33km to the east, approximately 45 minutes by car.

The villa has four double bedrooms all with stunning views, three with large double beds and one with twin beds. All four bedrooms have air conditioning. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room with WC and is on the ground floor with sliding french windows leading onto the pool terrace and views to the hills and the sea. A hairdryer is provided in each bedroom. The other three bedrooms are upstairs and there are two further shower rooms and a separate WC. There is also a downstairs WC off the hall.
The kitchen is very well equipped and is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar. A separate utility room contains the washing machine, extra fridge freezer, wine wrack and shelving for storage. A Henry vacuum cleaner, bin liners and cleaning products are provided for your use.
The spacious living room has three sets of sliding doors leading onto the covered terrace and the pool, offering ample shade for outdoor dining and entertaining looking out to the stunning views of Cavalière Bay, Cap Nègre and the Mediterranean. There is an extendable teak dining table with eight matching chairs on the terrace, and eight sun loungers for sun bathing.

Cavalière has a beautiful sandy beach just 15 minutes walk from the villa with several beach bars and restaurants, a water sports jetty, a jet ski hire centre and a sailing club where boats, wind surfers, paddle boards etc can be hired.. There are many other beaches to explore in the area, notably St Clair, La Fossette, Le Lavandou, Pramousquier and Canadel.
Don't miss the market in Cavalière car park every Monday morning (from June to September) and a 'Flea' market in the beach car park every Sunday all year. St Tropez market every Saturday and Tuesday mornings is well worth a visit plus other interesting villages and markets in the area.
Cavalière has a small supermarket and a boulangerie where fresh croissants and bread can be bought each morning. Larger supermarkets can be found in Le Lavandou,15 to 20 minutes by car.
For keen walkers there are plenty of lovely walks in the surrounding hills adjacent to the villa offering gentle to more challenging walks the further up the hills you wish to go.
Bikes can be hired in Le Lavandou to make use of the cycle track along the old coastal railway line which runs through the village.
Boat trips can be taken from Le Lavandou marina to Les Iles d'Hyères and there's an early morning passenger ferry to Cavalaire-sur-mer and St Tropez and back.
