Guests booking a full week's stay also receive a generous welcome hamper featuring fresh bread, butter, cheese, drinks and a delicious selection of local specialities, including regional charcuterie.

Each guest benefits from a comprehensive linen pack including bath towels, hand towels, pool towels, bed linen and pillowcases. For short stays of less than one week, a linen supplement of €21 per bedroom suite applies.

Families with young children are well catered for with travel cots and highchairs available.

The château features a superbly equipped country kitchen designed for large groups, including three electric ovens, two gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, American-style fridge freezer, additional full-size refrigerator, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and a full range of cookware and dining equipment.

Additional household conveniences include hairdryers, ironing facilities and a trouser press.

The private heated swimming pool is open from May through September and features a rigid safety cover, solar-heated outdoor shower and ten comfortable sun loungers.

A spacious patio provides the ideal setting for outdoor dining, complete with garden furniture, atmospheric lighting and a gas barbecue, perfect for long summer evenings.

Easy Access

Château Charly is conveniently located within driving distance of five airports including Paris, Tours, Limoges, Poitiers and Clermont-Ferrand.

Guests travelling by rail can reach the château easily from Bourges or Nevers, both offering direct train services from Paris and located within approximately 30 minutes by car.

For visitors arriving from the UK by car, the journey from Calais takes around 5½ hours.
