From March through to October, visitors can enjoy a variety of equestrian competitions including dressage, show jumping and cross-country events. During the summer months, the famous racecourse comes alive with exciting race meetings, particularly throughout July and August, attracting visitors from across the region. Whether you are a horse enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable day out, Pompadour offers a unique and authentic equestrian experience.

The château offers elegant accommodation for up to 23 guests within its beautifully restored interiors. Combining historic character with modern comforts, it provides the perfect setting for family gatherings, celebrations, retreats and special occasions.
Additional accommodation is available within the private house located on the estate, allowing larger groups to stay together while enjoying the privacy and exclusivity of the grounds. Guests can relax in luxurious surroundings and create lasting memories in a truly exceptional setting.
Casino
Located in the heart of Pompadour, the recently opened casino provides a lively evening entertainment option. Guests can enjoy a selection of gaming tables and machines, dine in the on-site restaurant, or attend concerts and live performances hosted within the venue throughout the year.
Special Rental Conditions
Bookings & Payment Terms:
For weddings, events and group stays, all reservations must be confirmed by a signed rental agreement.
A deposit of 35% of the total rental amount is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The remaining balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.
Guest Responsibility
The person making the booking accepts responsibility on behalf of all members of their group for the duration of the stay.
Guests are expected to treat the property, grounds and contents with care and respect. Any damage, breakage or loss caused during the stay, beyond normal wear and tear, shall be the responsibility of the booking party and charged accordingly.
This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, fixtures, fittings, floor coverings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware, cutlery and decorative items. The cost of repair or replacement may be deducted from the security deposit where appropriate.
Any damage, breakages or losses must be reported immediately to the owners or their representative.
The property is let exclusively for holiday, event and private rental purposes.
All furnishings, equipment and accessories must remain within the property and be left in their original locations at the end of the stay.
Guests will be liable for any costs incurred as a result of alterations to electronic equipment, televisions, internet systems or other appliances that require resetting, repair or reprogramming.
To avoid additional charges, guests are kindly requested to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition upon departure.
Maintenance & Access:
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all facilities and equipment remain in good working order, the owners cannot be held liable for temporary failures of utilities, equipment or services beyond their reasonable control.
Guests agree to allow access to authorised maintenance or repair personnel during reasonable hours, where necessary, to carry out repairs, servicing or inspections. Except in emergencies, access will be arranged in advance whenever possible.
If a guest requests a service visit which subsequently proves unnecessary, any associated call-out charges may be passed on to the guest.
External Service Providers:
Any additional services arranged during your stay, including catering, entertainment, wedding services, transport, equipment hire or other third-party services, are subject to separate agreements between guests and the respective service providers.
Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of €600 is required and must be received by bank transfer no later than two weeks prior to arrival.
The deposit will be returned by bank transfer within four weeks of departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.
Deductions may be made for:
• Damage, breakages or losses
• Excessive cleaning requirements
• Unauthorised rubbish left on site
• Complaints from local authorities or neighbours relating to excessive noise or disturbance
Liability:
The owners and their representatives shall not be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss, theft, delay, expense or inconvenience arising directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Any dispute arising from the booking or occupancy of the property shall be governed by French law and subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the French courts.
Cancellation Policy:
Under normal circumstances, booking deposits are non-refundable.
In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of the owners.
Exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
• Death of a contracting party
• Natural disasters or extreme weather events
• Acts of war or terrorism
• Civil unrest or riots
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Fire, explosion or severe property damage
• Circumstances resulting in the property becoming unavailable for occupation
