Porticcio Holiday Villa Rental with Large Private Pool, Corsica / 150m from Sea Reviews

In August of 2013 my girlfriend and I with 2 other couples and 2 children luckily found this amazing villa on the island of Corsica. The views displayed on-line were amazing but do not due the actual views justice. Truly fabulous!! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bay of Ajaccio with the City of Ajaccio in the distance started everyday. We started most evenings on the terrace with cocktails and an incredible sunset. The local beach which was only a 5 minute walk from the villa kept all of us close to home for the first couple of days. We all loved it. The information guide supplied by Adele gave us many options and after the first 2 days we explored a number of local beaches and restaurants within short driving distance; each one was very different. My 2 teen children loved that they could walk to the local beach on their own, eat at the local pizzeria and rent sea kayaks all within sight of the villa. The villa itself was wonderful from the pool, terraces, bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and grounds! The 2 weeks just flew by and we intend on returning and will definitely rent U Castellu as our base for further exploring this hidden gem of an island.
