Relaxing Breton Holiday Cottage with private heated Swimming Pool in Kersulan, Morbihan Reviews

My husband & I returned from a week in June at the beautiful Walnut Tree Gite, our third visit & booked initially after reading the wonderful reviews already posted. Well in reality everything about this holiday home was as lovely as the first time & still is absolutely fabulous & far surpasses any other properties previously visited. First of all we were met on arrival as on our previous 2 visits by Tina & Graeme who are 2 of the nicest people you could possibly meet & are perfect for this type of business. They are helpful, nothing is too much for them in making sure you enjoy a perfect holiday while at the same time just being discreetly there if you need them. After the drive from the ferry port it was really appreciated to have homemade cake, milk, bread, cheese, butter & even wine provided - essentials until we could go shopping ourselves. What can I say the gite itself is stunning, tastefully & beautifully decorated & equipped with everything & way more than you could possibly need, more like a home from home, needs to be seen to be believed! The towels & linen provided are top quality & the gite is so comfortable & spacious with beautiful bedrooms & bathroom & a separate newly refurbished shower room. One of our favourite things to do was to sit on the benches at the front of the gite each morning with coffee & homemade cake & Tina & Graeme would often come & join us for a chat - they are truly the loveliest people you could meet & we consider them now really as our friends. There are lots of places to visit in this area & detailed information has also been provided in the gite to make your holiday as simple & easy as you want it to be, whether relaxing by the pristine pool/having a bbq in the covered area provided/enjoying the beautiful seating areas/playing games in the outdoor hanger….all in the immaculately kept & beautifully planted gardens - we really enjoyed having a ‘chat’ with Graeme’s chickens too! If you fancy a day at the beach or exploring the many pretty surrounding towns & villages then all the info you could need is provided too. We’ve had another wonderful week at Walnut Gite & were really sad to leave. We had to get up early to get back to the port for our ferry crossing home but Tina & Graeme were up to wave us off & say goodbye - till next time as we’ll definitely be back again!
