Set on the edge of a picturesque village, this 4-bedroom villa offers everything you need for a perfect getaway in the countryside.

Enjoy the unique privilege of having a large private garden while being just a short walk from village amenities including the local boulangerie for fresh bread each morning.

La Garnison is the ideal mix of privacy and convenience with a private heated pool, a games room, terraces and balconies with countryside views, and a selection of high quality bicycles for use.

The Accommodation features:

La Garnison’s open-plan living space is well-suited to large groups. One side features a lounge with sofa and comfortable armchairs, and the other a well-equipped kitchen with an island, and a dining table seating 8 guests.

The kitchen boasts a very large range cooker and fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, and small appliances such as kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
There is ample crockery, and even children’s dinnerware available.

From this large open-plan living space, two Juliette balconies overlook the medieval village and the hills beyond. The original stone fireplace and an elegant curved wooden staircase enhance the setting.

Another large sitting room is downstairs, with timber beams overhead, and double doors out to the terrace. The property has good wifi installed throughout, Smart TV, a DVD player, a stereo & music library, a video library, books, board games and toys.

The main staircase from the open-plan living space leads to a large landing, off of which are two large double bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower.

A different staircase leads to the master double bedroom with super king-sized bed. It has an ensuite shower room, and double doors leading to a south facing terrace with seating, that then descends to the pool terrace.

On the ground floor there is an additional double bedroom, and a separate WC. All bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with large wardrobes, end tables, chairs, large mirrors and fans.

A cot, high chair, and a stair gate are available, as well as children’s toys & games.

A washing machine is available in the ground floor utility room, and there is an additional fridge/freezer in the cave.

Outside
Outdoors, La Garnison offers a heatable private pool, two dining terraces, one on either side of the house, as well as a games barn.

The private swimming pool measures 7x4m and is alarmed for safety. Surrounded by a large patio furnished with comfortable sun loungers, it overlooks a flowered garden and countryside views towards the south. The pool can be heated for a small additional charge, specified in the booking form below.

In front of the house is the perfect setting for breakfast – at the top of the stone staircase leading to the main entrance, a dining table for 8 guests overlooks the walled front courtyard garden. The wooden decked back terrace has comfortable outdoor seating, as well as a dining table for 8 guests and a charcoal barbecue.

The games room includes a foosball table, table tennis, a dart board, and a selection of high-quality bicycles.

Just 80 metres away in the village, you’ll find a playground and a boules court.

There is space for four vehicles to park on the street in front, or within the rear gates.

Nearby there are plenty of tourist activities and large towns to explore. Cahors, just 25km to the east is renowned for its vineyards and wine culture. Puy L’Évêque, 20km minutes to the northwest, is a large town known for its medieval charm that sits along the meandering Lot River. Boat rides are available, as well as a wide range of outdoor sports and activities.
