Holiday Cottage with Pool, Summerhouse and Games Room in Migron, France - Maison Poirier Reviews

The property was very comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished. The outside space was excellent and the pool very inviting. We also enjoyed using the games room. The owners provided an excellent service and the property was clean and well-maintained. It was very conveniently situated for visits to nearby towns and we especially liked Saintes. We would definitely recommend this property and it was perfect for our family of 6 adults and a child.

We stayed at Maison Poirier for 2 weeks. Frankly the house exceeded our expectations. Wonderful facilities and perfect decor. The house is perfect for either a family or a couple just wanting to get away from it all... The property has everything you need including wine on hand just in case you run out. Amanda's welcome basket was delicious and we were even given some of her beautiful home made jam to bring home. One of us had a slight accident on holiday and Ian and Amanda helped arrange a doctor's appointment which was much needed. Also they give excellent restaurant recommendations. The holiday felt like a home from home except we had the most beautiful weather, wonderful swimming pool and games room which kept our children occupied. We hope that we will return and the house is only a 15 minute drive to Cognac which is perfect as you get the best of country and town life.

We booked Maison Poirier for our stay due to its size and its proximity to our recently purchased property. The property was well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. The property was roomy, kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. The summerhouse and games room proved useful for our teenagers. The pool was great. We loved the outside dining space. It was private and well designed.

We had a really wonderful time at Maison Poirier. Three weeks were too short!The cottage was pristine, very well stocked and spacious. The gardens and swimming pool very well maintained. Our favourite spot soon enough became the summerhouse where one can sit in the shade, wifi at hand and enjoy the lovely garden and pool. Special thanks to Amanda and Ian for their hospitality (instant plumbing :-)), welcoming basket, local info and just enjoyable talks. Very special thanks from our kids to Kayden and Chris for their friendship and spent time in the pool, the games room and so on. We experienced Cognac and Saintes, spent some time at the coast, visited the Baron Otard distillery at Cognac. We spent 10 days (30th May - 8th June) at the property and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our 2 year old daughter loved the sand pit, wendy house and swimming pool. We also made use of the games room playing pool, table tennis and darts. The owners were very hospitable but not intrusive. The property was clean and very well equipped - especially with the provision of a cot, high chair and toys for our children. Would thoroughly recommend it!
