ROSSIGNOL - A beautifully renovated single storey holiday home with ajoining private, heated swimming pool, situated in the beautiful countryside hamlet of Palisse. Perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples as well as a baby. A large, secure garden ajoins the patio and swimming pool, with parking for two cars. Rossignol has full electric central heating which makes it ideal for letting throughout the year. The whole site is completely yours for your stay, including the pool and mature garden. The Chalet in the garden is available as an add on to your booking (sleeps up to 5 more people).
FLOOR PLAN :
Large open plan Living Room: Ceramic tile floor. Dining table to seat 6.
Kitchen and Utility Room: Washing machine. Fridge/Freezer. Bottle Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave.
Bedroom 1: One double bed. Fitted wardrobe. Fully tiled ensuite bathroom, bath W.C and shower.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds. Fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Fully tiled Shower Room: Shower. Wash hand basin. W.C.
Immediately outside the Living Room is a patio with a partially covered pergola at one end providing a shaded area ideal for outdoor eating.
The Swimming Pool is 10m x 4m. with built in steps at one end and a constant depth of 1.5m. The pool has a safety cover. Rossignol has a mature garden to the front with a large decking area for outside dining and sunbathing. The garden has a washing line and lounger chairs are provided by the pool for extra relaxation!

There is now the option to increase the amount of people who can enjoy Rossignol. Within the beautiful garden, we have built a stunning new Chalet, which is fully fitted out with sleeping for up to 5, a kitchenette and shower room. All nestled in the most beautiful French woodland Countryside. Contact us to ADD the Chalet onto your booking.

Local Attractions
Palisse is a small hamlet set amongst beautiful French countryside between the towns of Aubettere and Riberac. Aubeterre has a river beach, tennis, canoeing and many good restaurants. Riberac is famous for it’s fantastic Friday morning markets that spread through most of the town. Not to be missed! Petit Bersac is our nearest main village with both a post office and a Boulangerie. There is an excellent Golf course about 10 minutes drive away.
Brantôme, Périgueux, Angoulême, and Cognac are all within reasonable distance of Palisse. The Bordeaux and Bergarac wine regions are also easily accessible - definitely a recommended trip! There are also historical sites nearby, in Aubettere an underground ancient church and near Angoulême, some examples of cave drawings. Near Poitiers there is the theme park Futuroscope which offers a good family day out!

Electricity: The cost of all electricity is included in the weekly rental.
Gas: The hob uses bottled gas. There is a reserve bottle.

Linen: A full linen service is provided. You will only need to bring your own swimming towels.
Maintenance: Included in the price is all swimming pool maintenance.
A weekly cleaning service for the house can be arranged at an additional cost.
Heating: Full electric central heating including towel warmers in both bathrooms.
