4 bedroom secluded XVIIIth century watermill with swimming pool and large garden bordered by the river Sasse - Sleeps up to 15. This wonderful property is situated 3 km from charming old village of Valernes and 10 km from Sisteron. This charming provençal house, a fully refurbished watermill, was built shortly before the French Revolution; it has no directly visible neighbours.
From the house, you have a superb view on the Montagne de Lure, the Rocher de Gache and the River Sasse. There are no direct neighbours to be seen or heard!
Enjoy the quietness of this secluded location, Or make as much noise as you wish because no one to hear you.
There is a further bedroom with 7 beds in separate building ('cabanon') for younger guests. The river Sasse runs in the back of the garden. Its large terrace is located under a huge sycamore tree providing shade in the hot summer days. The house has been renovated and provides all modern comfort.
The house has an en-suite bathroom, next to the master bedroom, with a bad, basin and WC. The shower room has a large shower and basin. In addition, there are two additional, separate toilets, one on each floor. In the separate building ('cabanon'), there is a shower room with shower and two basins and a separate WC.
The refurbished kitchen offers a gas stove (five burners) and two ovens, hood, microwave, 2 fridges, a deepfreezer, 2 dishwashing machines, toaster, coffee machines, water kettle, filtered drinking water. The house has a telephone landline. In the cellar, there as a washing machine and a dryer, and a washing basin.
Additional information: The house will be cleaned once a week.
