Absolutely top class, the description corresponds fully to reality, everything was very neat and clean. The contact with the landlord was extremely courteous, the handling very correct. As a special and very valued attention, dinner and a good wine were available upon our arrival.

The facility is ideal for families with children. The children can look forward to unlimited holiday and adventure fun.

However, depending on the requirements, the property should not be occupied by more than 6-7 people, as there is only a shower available in addition to a beautiful bathroom with bathtub.

We felt very comfortable and can warmly recommend the domicile.

lonely, wonderful paradise

From AZ, simply a perfect vacation. There were eight of us (including 4 children 2 - 6 years old) and our children were allowed to experience a great adventure. There is so much to discover in the mill and the surrounding area. The park is big enough to play golf! And for us it was pure relaxation. In addition, we were warmly welcomed with an already existing dinner and wine. Like the previous speaker, I recommend no more than 8 people, the next house is quite damp and is only suitable for teenagers. Those who like to travel to the sea: the journey time is quite long, approx. 1 hour 20 minutes. Wonderful market in Forcalquier (40min drive). Market days in the area are posted on the fridge.

Life "like God in France" becomes a reality

We were in paradise from May 10th to May 31st, 2008, simply wonderful

Wonderful for the children, they couldn't get out of the heated pool, with up to 15 people

with a little consideration and a smart process organization

A great week at DER Mühle

There were eleven of us in this dream mill for the last week of May, 8 adults in the main building, 3 in the annex and everything worked out. The handover by Natalie went quickly and we felt incredibly comfortable in the very personally furnished mill. Beds are great, rooms are very nicely decorated, the fireplace is amazing. The pool and outside area are very well maintained and the Weber Grill served us very well for several evenings! We'll be coming back!!!

wonderful motorcycle vacation in Provence

We were with 11 "thunder masters" for a week in the beautiful Moulin de Fombeton and spent an eventful, relaxing, fun, romantic holiday in the middle of the wonderful nature of Provence.

The house is in absolute top condition, the evenings in front of the fireplace will be unforgettable, as well as the view of the mountain ranges at breakfast and the trips across Provence.

Nathalie and Michel were always there in case the alarm was accidentally triggered and otherwise we felt well looked after.

The "thunder masters" will definitely not have been in this wonderful vacation home for the last time.

Idyllic - pure relaxation
I didn't want to submit a review for fear that this charming place will become more and more popular thereby potentially limiting the chances I will have of rebooking in the coming years. That would be doing the owners a massive disservice though and so I will also add my words of praise for this charming place which has been lovingly restored by it's charming owners, who, I should add, were an absolute pleasure to deal with as were the onsite couple who welcomed us and showed us the ropes as it were.

We were two young families, each with a young child, and we stayed here for a week. We were lucky - the weather was fantastic, which allowed us to lounge by the pool, eat out every night and generally recuperate and recharge our batteries. The kids loved the pool and the ample space the "park" offered - essentially around half a football pitch worth of grassed land to run about in. The petanque pitch was also put to good use!

I shall always think back fondly of the Moulin de Fombeton and equally I shall always look forward to my next stay there. The area is beautiful, rural, peaceful (bar the deafening crickets at night - but that's the type of "noise" one wants on such a holiday in such a fantastic place) and offers plenty to do if you are not satisfied by doing almost nothing but swimming, coooking, eating and drinking.

Relaxed days in beautiful surroundings

We enjoyed our stay at the mill from the first moment. The property has a spacious, quiet, tasteful ambience. In the garden or on the terrace you can relax, read, be together, enjoy meals, etc. Even with high temperatures there was a nice breeze.

The pool is wonderful. Quite big, clean, great for cooling down. There are sun loungers, parasols and space for sunbathing right there.

The kitchen is fantastic and offers all the possibilities to prepare and cook for a larger family to eat.

The living room is tastefully decorated and nice and cool when the temperature is high. WiFi was perfect. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and spacious enough. The master bedroom with its own bathroom is particularly beautiful.

Washer and dryer were very usable.

There are very good shopping opportunities nearby. The mill is also very convenient for excursions (Sisteron, Gorge de Meouge, etc.). Nevertheless, one is relaxed in the country.

We really have nothing bad to say and would love to come back!
