La forge is perfect and beautiful!

La forge had everything we needed and was spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Couldn't recommend it more and it made our holiday!

Cosy and comfortable

We have stayed here a few times, and always go back because it is such a lovely, comfortable and well appointed chalet. Everything has been done to make your stay great - from a fantastically well equipped kitchen to proper sheets, decent towels and plenty of hot water (these things matter). Though a little outside Meribel, the access is easy and for much of the season you can ski home. It's definitely worth booking!

We absolutely loved our week long stay here and couldn't fault it one bit! Le Raffort is a sweet little collection of chalets with great access to the Meribel and Trois Vallee slopes via a bubble from across the road (takes you up to main lift area in 5-10 mins) and you can even ski back to the chalet via a special little run through the trees! When the bubble stops at 5pm there is also a free bus service running all day and most of the night that goes right from the bottom of the village. The chalet itself is a good size on three floors (can sleep 12) and in good condition with lots of cooking equipment and fridge space to load up on and cook goodies. There is a nice dining table and lounging sofa area with a cosy open fire to relax around in the evening as well as good wifi, computer terminal and TV. We think it's an absolute winner if you want to escape the crowds around Meribel central and still have easy access to town and the slopes.

We had a fantastic time staying here in March. The chalet was so comfortable - we felt at home immediately. It has a wonderful open plan layout with a big roaring fire, enormous comfy sofa and dining table (not to mention excellent selection of books and DVDs!!). And it's very well equipped, including two dishwashers in the kitchen - very handy. La Raffort too is absolutely charming and easy to reach. And, of course, you have the Trois Vallees on your doorstep.

Great chalet at a very reasonable price. We were a group of 8 - but needed all the bedrooms. Lots of space and very cosy. Kitchen was one of the best I have used for ski catering - lots of big pots for curry etc. Everything you could need. Beds were all comfy - and lots of bathrooms.

The walk to the lifts is not too far - and we could ski home all week - although this was not a beginners route home unless you have lots of fresh snow.

Ann the owner was really helpful and sent lots of excellent info. Overall I couldn't fault things - a great weeks skiing.

We used the local ski hire company - SlideCandy - who were absolutely ace. Delivered and collected skis - all for a reasonable price - and top quality skis. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Great location, perfect for a family or big group of friends.
The chalet is just below Meribel centre but the gondola is conveniently a few min walk from the chalet and takes you to the main lift area within 10 minutes. We hired lockers at the main lift area which made life a lot easier and there isn’t really space for everyone’s gear at the chalet if you have a full house. The chalet is compact but worked well for us as a big family group. We used Chalet Kitchen the entire week we were there and can highly recommend them as a catering option. I would recommend hiring a car if you intend to do your own catering as the shops are about a 5 min car journey away.

Overall a great stay and hopefully will get back to the chalet some day.

Great location with everything you needed
Fantastic chalet, great to be able to ski in and only a short hop up to méribel. SlideCandy were amazing and the best hire kit we've had, made it so easy as they fitted and collected in the chalet.. The chalet itself was really well equipped. Will definitely return, a great find.

Great place for a large group of 12 people in a great location!
Overall we all loved the place: the house is well equipped with everything necessary. Especially impressed with the amount of plates, cutlery, mugs and glases, as well as the fact that there were TWO dishwashers!!! Loads of table games - for all levels of players. The fireplace is grand and rustic - it creates a very special atmosphere during the winter evenings. We also loved the skiing in this area - imagine, wide long pistes full of snow and sun:)) Amasing!!!

This is a lovely chalet that's well connected to Meribel centre (via Olympic bubble & regular bus service) & only a short drive to Village should you wish to venture over to Courchevel via a different route!

The nice, open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area was perfect for our group of 10 - there is a great bluetooth speaker and Smart TV set-up in the lounge too. The kitchen had lots of cooking utensils, perfect for any self-catering requirements. One thing I would flag though, is that the kitchen table seating may be a bit of a squeeze for any all-adult groups larger than 10.

The on-site secure external locker was a life-saver as it meant the chalet was kept clear of all our ski gear!

Beds were extremely comfy and the bunk beds were large enough to accommodate 6ft+ individuals.

All in all we had a great stay and would recommend this chalet to anyone - families or friends. Ann was a pleasure to deal with and always prompt to answer any questions we had in the run-up to our stay.
