The Domaine Puech Malou is situated in the department Tarn which is part of the southern French Occitanie region, previously known as Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées. In these beautiful surroundings there are two magnificent holiday homes: The Farmhouse and The Cottage. Both houses are situated on a historic and picturesque property and can be rented for a well-deserved holiday.
The Domaine Puech Malou sits on a sunny hilltop, 525 meters high in the middle of the French countryside. In the Occitan language ‘puech’ means hilltop and ‘Malou’ is the name of an old variety of apple. The Domaine is part of the idyllic small community Puech Malou which is part of the nearby municipality of Teillet. Centuries-old Albi is only 30 minutes away by car and within the hour you reach Toulouse. On a clear day, you can see the mountaintops of the Pyrenees in the distance. The surroundings offer unspoiled scenery, beautiful views and characteristic French villages.

The beautifully restored and picturesque holiday homes The Farmhouse and The Cottage have kept their charm and atmosphere and are well decorated with an eye for the smaller details.

Both houses (with all facilities) are centrally located within the 8.000 m2 property, each with its own garden and sitting area. The former fields around the houses have now been landscaped into beautiful park-like gardens with various terraces.

You can enjoy the beautiful views, breath-taking sunsets, balmy summer evenings and a spectacular starry-spangled sky.

The atmospheric 4* Farmhouse has just been rated 4-stars Meublés des Tourisme by Comité Departemental du Tourisme du Tarn Midi-Pyrénées and offers the perfect environment for a special stay. Maison Puech Malou is situated in the Tarn department and is part of the Southern French region Midi-Pyrénées. The surroundings are characterized by peace, beautiful scenery and gorgeous views over the hills and typical French villages. The property finds itself in a Mediterranean climate; particularly pleasant all year round. In Occitan (the regional dialect) Puech means hilltop and Malou is the name of a type of apple. Maison Puech Malou is a part of an idyllically situated small scale community, Puech Malou and is part of the council of Teillet. You will find Teillet a five-minute drive from the hamlet.

Albi is a twenty-minute drive away and Toulouse is within an hour’s drive. The region offers a variety of culture, history and beautiful scenery. The country of the Cathars is only a stone’s throw away and on a clear day even the peaks of the Pyrénées are exposed.

The atmospheric Farmhouse, dating from around 1800, offers the perfect environment for a special stay. In the still unspoilt hills, in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in the Southern French region of the Midi-Pyrénées, The property lies at an altitude of 525 meters on a sunny hill. In these picturesque surroundings, the Farmhouse , is fringed by private park-like gardens with a swimming pool and various patios with fireplaces and offers you plenty of room for peace and privacy. The brilliantly restored Farmhouse is exceptionally attractive and decorated with care. Romantic bedrooms, antique furniture and comfortable sitting areas gives you a true “home away from home” feeling. The U-shaped Farmhouse counts five large double rooms and three bathrooms. On the ground floor you will find a very spacious living room, in which the two fire places and the attractive furnishings add to the warm heart of the house. The generous Farmhouse kitchen is fitted out with all modern conveniences. Far away from the hustle and bustle, down a quiet country lane you will find peace and tranquility. 

The Farmhouse offers sufficient space to have a comfortable stay for 10 persons. The luxurious and romantic detached Cottage offers every charm sleeping 2 to 4 persons. Renting the whole property offers sleeping 12 – 14 persons.
