Other Interior Facilities
Two of the three bedrooms are very large rooms (5m x 5m and 5m x 4m) with double beds. The largest bedroom enjoys views to three sides. The third double room is slightly smaller and has an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. All the bedrooms are newly decorated and furnished in traditional style.
Two of the bedrooms have traditional 'boat beds' and the third has an antique carved wooden bed. The second bathroom is spacious and has a bath and large walk-in shower. The attics are very large and light. There are two rooms (about 5m x 5m but with steep ceilings!), one with a double bed and a standard single bed. The other has a five foot futon sofa bed and a single bed.
There are also two folding single beds (and a cot) which can be set up in any of the rooms as required. It should be noted that there is not complete privacy in the attic floor and is not suitable for 2 sets of adults. It would be perfect for either a couple & their children or for teenagers &/or children.

Local Attractions
Our nearest town is Cordes-sur-Ciel, voted one of the best villages in France, is just a 10min drive away. Plus, we are located just 30 minutes from Najac and St Antonin-Noble-Val. These are fascinating medieval bastide towns, full of interest and activities. Albi, with its cathedral, Toulouse-Lautrec museum, restaurants, etc. is about 20 minutes away, and we are well placed for trips to many other bastide towns and the Gaillac vineyards. This is an area where villages tend to be ancient medieval settlements and pigeonniƩrs are found dotted about the fields.
Cordes is host to a variety of restaurants, several hotels, a wonderful patisserie, butchers, banks, ironmongers, toyshop, garages and a newspaper and bookshop. In the summer months, there is also a variety of specialist food/wine shops and art and local craft shops. There is a very attractive and useful market on Saturday mornings. There are also several interesting museums and the renowned 'Jardin des Paradis' gardens.
