250 year old, completely renovated, holiday house and a completely renovated small cottage. They are set in 3 acres near Doissat “capital” of French walnut country in the Dordogne. Horse riding, fishing, golf, canoeing, hiking and much more to do locally.

Lortal is a spacious traditional Dordogne holiday house completely renovated to combine character and comfort with rural views via terraces and poolside. Located in South West France in the Perigord Noir in the “Golden Triangle” of Sarlat  / Domme and Bergerac in the beautiful Dordogne valley. Belves, one of the most beautiful cities of France. is only 7 km from Lortal. Belves is a medieval town perched on a rocky spur above the Nauze Valley in Perigord Noir. The Lortal holiday house provides the perfect pied-a-terre for a memorable holiday!

On the groundfloor: a large comfortable lounge and good size fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with stairs up to the bedrooms. Also a bedroom (accessing covered terrace, overlooking the grounds, and pool) with ensuite bathroom and airco. Upstairs a master bedroom with airco (also with ensuite bathroom), two twin bedrooms (one with airco) with a bathroom  (shower, wc.). In total 4 bedrooms (3 with wall-mounted airconditioning) and 3 bathrooms.

Available: dishwasher, washing machine, SAT-tv, dvd and cd player, film dvds, music cds, reading books, table tennis table, games, free WIFI internet, 10x 5m private swimming pool.
 

Petite Lortal is a recently renovated small cottage suitable for two adults. Tucked away in a peaceful, shaded corner of the grounds, only 100m from the main house, 

The house is completely self-contained, in its own small, secluded garden. A living room, bathroom, kitchenette and bedroom provide all modern conveniences. For those chilly days there also is (electrical) heating.

The Lortal holiday house is a 4* accommodation.

Sarlat, Rocamadour and Domme are entire mediaeval towns, extremely beauty and of great religious relevance offering unique visitor experiences.

The castle of Beynac is both a famed beauty spot and an impressive monument to past conflict. Bergerac is a city where ancient traditions and modern facilities go hand in hand.

At Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, you can visit an ancient castle Chateau des Milades that was also home to the famous entertainer and icon Josephine Baker, and where a spectacular display of hawking and falconry is on offer. And caves in the Dordogne area are too numerous to mention here: why not spent an hour or so on the internet discovering them!

The Gastronomy:
Guests will enjoy experiencing the numerous local markets and admire the vegetables, the fruit, the meats and poultry, the wallnuts, the truffles, the pate’s and the many local specialities - as well as being pleasantly surprised by the prices. The Perigord cuisine is subtle and fragrant, and many of the local dishes can be sampled at one of the thousands of affordable restaurants in the area.
