Beautiful Farmhouse with Private Pool in Vendee, France
La Fermette is a beautiful converted farmhouse and granary in a quiet hamlet in the Vendée region of France. The house which has 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8- 10 in comfort, is very spacious and has been sympathetically restored and tastefully decorated. It is set in 2 acres of secure and secluded gardens with open lawned areas and mature trees. There is a private swimming pool with security fencing and a championship sized tennis court.
Ground floor:
Large ‘L-shaped’ sitting room (90 sq.metres) with various seating areas and high, beamed ceilings. English satellite TV, DVD player, table football, small size snooker table and a music centre with CD player.
Large fully fitted kitchen/dining room (30 sq.metres) The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, drinks fridge, dish washer, electric hob and oven, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine. There is a free standing well stocked glass cabinet and a very large pine refectory table which will seat 12 comfortably. There is also a fire place with a wood burning stove.

The 5 x 10 metre swimming pool has a Roman end. There is a shallow end and a metre deep safety ledge all round and has security fencing with a child proof lock on the self closing gate. There is a paved area with sun loungers for 10 people around the pool and some sun umbrellas. Please note: the pool is not heated so it is only open during the peak season (although if the weather is suitable off season, we may be able to open the pool if requested).
The resin/granite championship size tennis court has deep run offs. Bring your own racquets and balls.
The secluded and secure gardens are mainly laid to lawn (perfect for ball games) with mature trees providing shade if needed.
