The village of Bar-sur-Loup has narrow medieval village streets and is situated below the chàteau. The village has a Café-Bar, a boucherie-charcuterie and a pharmacy. The Epicerie Générale has daily fresh bread, fruit and vegetables and a wonderful locally made "vin d'orange".

This villa acts as a wonderful base for guests with an interest in outdoor activities as it is well known for it's well maintained walking paths and offers walks of varying degrees of difficulty to suit all ages.
