Le Perroquet has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored to reveal original stonework and large oak beams. It is ideal for holidaying with friends or family, as it consists of 2 independent (ajoining) gites.

In the tiled entrance hall there is a separate WC and hand basin. In each of the ground floors you’ll also find a large open plan kitchen/dining area, typically French, and which are well equipped and furnished with country style furniture. In each lounge there is a traditional wood burning stove and plenty of comfortable seating.

On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom enjoys an en-suite and boasts original exposed beams and chimney breast. Bedrooms two and three each have a double bed. Bedroom four has one double bed and one single bed. (In the adjoining gite there are 3 double bedrooms are the first floor). The shower room is spacious and multi functional. There is a separate toilet and wash basin. Outside: The front of the house has a well kept mature garden. A10x5 swimming pool with a large terraced area is at the rear and a barbeque is provided.

‘Le Perroquet’ is set in 3.75 acres of grounds, including mature gardens and grassland, with the river Dordogne flowing along the bottom of the garden The land stretches some 230 metres to the river bank, making it large enough for all types of ball games. A boules set and skittles are available.

Le Perroquet is in the commune of Saint Germain et Mons. Local activities include: canoeing, go-karting, golf, horse riding, riverside-woodland walks, and fishing. There are local markets every day of the week, providing you with fresh produce. The Dordogne has wealth of attractions to visit, including chateaux, caves, and pretty bastide towns.
