The house has been fully renovated and decorated with style down to the last detail. On the ground floor (there are steps up to the ground floor) there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a large open plan living, kitchen dining. A few steps lead up to the Summer kitchen which in turn leads out onto the courtyard with pool. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms plus a second large living area with flat screen TV and a dining table great for kids games… ideal for separating a kids’ living area from the adults’ living area. From here a few steps down and you are in the Summer kitchen. The house is bright and airy with views out over the village square and the château.

1 on the ground floor with open plan to the kitchen and dining area.
1 upstairs, with english freesat TV, ideal for use as a childrens' living area.
Other Rooms: The summer kitchen is a great space for family dining overlooking the pool.
Linen,Towels & Cleaning: Linen, towels and pool towels are provided, changed weekly for longer stays.
Outside: The pool courtyard is equipped with sun loungers and parasols... it is completely private with a wall and a large gate.

Local Attractions
Pouzolles is a lively village with a cafe / restaurant which serves decent food daily throughout Summer. The pizza van and oyster man come once a week, and fruit & veg and meat market is on twice a week. There is also a bakery, small grocers and tabac. The park with boules court offers a playground for children and hosts the Brasucade every Friday night in July and August. Bicycles can be hired in the village and you can enjoy wonderful walks in the vines. The village is also home to 3 wineries where you can go for tastings.
In the surrounding villages there are good restaurants, including one in nearby Magalas which must be booked well in advance. Rivers and lakes, mediterranean beaches, the Languedoc National Park, kayaking on the River Orb, visiting medieval villages, browsing the antiques shops of Pezenas, local markets, village festivals... there are so many things to do in this area.
5 min from Roujan, a slightly larger town with supermarket, petrol station, cash machine, chemist, post office, live music bar, organic cafe and a couple of restaurants.
The Herault is our favourite area of the Languedoc Roussillon. With 300 days of sunshine a year and a wonderful microclimate this is where we chose to live! We have beaches, lakes and rivers for swimming, sailing and all other watersports, great hiking in the National Park or simply around the village in the vines - no fences, perfect for long walks.
