This attractive stone farm Normandy holiday cottage combines traditional character with modern comforts. The property is situated on a farm track at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within 5 minutes walk of all the facilities of the village of St. Pois, St Pois is host to a large supermarket, patisserie, butchers, a bar and a restaurant.
St Pois is a hilltop village located just 2 hours drive of the channel ports of Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre and St. Malo and is ideally located between the sandy beaches of the Manche peninsula and the pretty rivers and gorges of Swiss Normandy - both are within 30 minutes drive.

The cottage boasts a small floral garden with a vine covered patio and guests will enjoy the outside eating area with barbecue, great for al fresco meals in the summer months. Watch the evening sun go down over the distant St. Michels Mount Bay.

The accomodation comprises, on the ground floor, an open plan living room area with wood beamed ceiling and a large wood burning stove fireplace. This area includes a lounge with armchairs and a settee, a fitted kitchen and a dining table and chairs. The lounge features a cd player with a large selection of films and music to suit all tastes.

Separate on the ground floor is a double bedroom and an attached stone barn with a toilet, washbasin and shower. The upstairs loft conversion main bedroom is spacious with 3 single beds and an en suite bathroom/shower toilet.

There is much to do in the surrounding area. You may choose to explore the spectacular World Heritage Site of Mont St. Michel which is only 30 minutes drive away and is the second most visited tourist attraction in the whole of France and the many seaside resorts of the Manche Peninsula such as Granville, Jullouville and St Pair, all with large sandy beaches. There are other fantastic adventure sports nearby including bungy jumping and zip wire at Vire and kayaking, walking and climbing in the Swiss Normandy resorts.

Large weekly markets are held nearby in towns such as Vire, Villedieu les Poelles and St. Hillaire de Harcourt and these towns also have first class Aqua Centres with flumes. There is a popular family Zoo near Villedieu and major shopping opportunties in Vire and Granville.
