Las Brugues is set in a tranquil spot in beautiful countryside between Roquecour and Montaigu-de-Quercy with hardly another house in sight. Views extend far over the rolling hills.

There are two buildings – the main house that sleeps 8, as well as a self-contained accommodation for 2 in a pigeonnier tower, making a total of 5 bedrooms on site. A cot and a high chair are also available.

Guests who visit in the shoulder season have the added comfort of a wood burner for cooler weather. With multiple outdoor lounging areas, Las Brugues makes a relaxing retreat in the countryside.

Prices shown in the calendar reflect the full property rental. Discounts apply when booking only the main house for 8 guests or less, and are visible in the booking form below when selecting number of guests.

Accommodation
The main house is approached through a long covered terrace overlooking the pool. Entering the double doors is a spacious sitting room with large leather sofas around a wood burner and TV. A small lobby of the room has storage cupboards and a cloakroom with WC and basin.

The open kitchen / dining area features a table seating 8, a gas hob, a waist-level oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is also a good selection of small appliances and utensils.

An additional sitting room is on the first floor mezzanine, with a settee, TV and DVD player. There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor of the main house – two double and two twins, decorated with a contemporary feel. The doubles both have ensuite shower rooms with WC, and there is also a separate bathroom with bathtub and shower nozzle, WC and basin.

The pigeonnier tower offers independent accommodation in a simple ‘one up one down’ building for a couple, with convenient entrances from both its ground floor and its first floor.

Its spacious double bedroom is on the cooler ground floor and has an ensuite shower room with basin and WC. Stairs lead up to a compact open plan kitchen / dining / sitting room area, and doors open onto a small wooden decked outdoor terrace with views of the pool and garden.

This open plan area is equipped with electric hob, oven, small fridge/freezer, a microwave, and some small appliances, with ample storage. There are comfortable sofas and outdoor seating.

On site there is a utility room with washing machine and basic cleaning equipment.

Outside

Enjoying a glorious panoramic view, the large 12x6m pool and its terrace are the major feature, lined with a classic balustrade and a unique turret at the far end. It makes an ideal spot for barbecuing or lounging with the best views. The pool is alarmed and has integral steps for easy access.

In addition to the vine covered terrace in front of the pool area, there is an outdoor courtyard area accessible from the kitchen. This is partially covered and lined with fruit trees and other trailing plants.

The grounds around Las Brugues are maintained to a high standard and include flowers and shrubs, as well as trailing plants and vines. There are multiple outdoor areas for dining and lounging. A gas barbecue is available, as well as a tennis table, and a couple of adult bicycles.

There is ample parking for several vehicles.
